​Greek mythology tells us that Zeus (Jupiter) took over the reign of Olympus from Cronus (Saturn). Present reality (both in daily life and the "narrative") reveals a Saturnian world: karma, conditioning, restrictions. Yet, Saturn also symbolizes reality, order, and the test. However, true reality does not contain the artificial.
​Is this the fundamental error that shakes our perceptions?
​Astrology shows that the Age of Pisces was ruled by Jupiter. Mythical chronology suggests that after Jupiter, one of his children would follow him on the throne of Olympus: Mars or Vulcan. Given that Vulcan/Hephaestus is also associated with the "planet that is reborn during great revolutions," could he be considered the primary candidate? Zeus has other children, but only Mars and Vulcan are full gods; the others are demigods.
​Vulcan’s wife is Aphrodite/Venus, who is said to be humanity's great astral friend in the current epoch. Is this an argument worth considering for viewing the artisan god as the "shadow king"? Artisans produce the artificial.
