What condition am I? You usually notice me when you’re active, stressed, or pushing yourself too hard. I show up when your heart isn’t getting quite enough oxygen for a little while. I’m pretty predictable and normally stick around for less than 15 minutes. Slow down, rest, or take some nitro, and I’ll back off. I may scare you, but I’m not damaging the heart muscle, so troponin stays negative.
