RHYME TOURNAMENT! ROUND 02! BEGIN!
Kamayor and Haramu stood on opposite sides of the arena. Kamayor lowered his head, whispering a quiet prayer beneath the skull mask. The ground around him trembled slightly as his Flow gathered.
Across the battlefield, Haramu rolled his shoulders and grinned. The air between them felt heavy.
Kamayor raised his head. “In the name of the Father… I will capture you beasts and make you kneel.”
Haramu laughed. “Your faith ain’t enough to fight the wild.” Before anyone could react…
Akooma vanished.
A violent blur tore across the arena floor “THANK YOU FOR THE MEAL!” he roared “SLICE!” His claws flashed straight toward Kamayor’s throat…
CLANG!
A massive bell crashed into the strike. Xinx stood in front of Kamayor, unmoving “POUND…” The impact echoed through the arena like thunder. Sound energy exploded outward, forcing Akooma to skid backward across the ground. “Already protecting the priest?” Akooma snarled.
Behind him, Haramu lifted his hand. “Spread out.” The Asphalt Beasts moved instantly. Gajra stomped forward. “SMASH!” The ground bent inward, pulling debris and enemies toward her.
But the moment the pull began… The terrain shifted. “LAND.” Kamayor’s Flow surged through the battlefield. The earth cracked and twisted, breaking Gajra’s control. Stone pillars rose between the teams, reshaping the arena into a chaotic maze. Haramu smiled wider.
“Good.”
From above… “SPARROW.” Glint dropped from a broken pillar like a falling blade. “ARROW.” His finger thrust forward. The invisible strike shot toward Tropine… But a wall of plants erupted. “PROP.” Three copies of Tropine scattered across the field. Glint’s attack pierced one… Fake. “DROP.” Tropine slammed his staff into the ground. His Flow spread across the arena, mapping every movement
“Enemies revealed.”
“TRYLE,” Kamayor commanded. She was already moving. “SPIN.” Her body rotated violently, turning into a human drill. She tore through the battlefield toward Bansay. “BLEED.” Bansay slashed her shoulder as she passed. Blood sprayed… Tryle grinned. “WIN.
Her eyes sharpened. His Rhyme. Copied.
Suddenly dozens of needles appeared in her hand. “PIN.” Bansay dodged… Too slow. Needles ripped across his arms. “BLEED.” Now he was the one bleeding.
Meanwhile… Haramu stepped forward slowly “SHOW.” His body entered the Physical Zone. The battlefield itself became his weapon. He grabbed a broken pillar. “THROW.” The massive stone spun toward Valenti. “STAY. Invisible shackles froze it mid-air. Valenti tapped his staff. “LAY.” Golden light spread across the Pilgrim Warden. Tryle’s wounds closed. Xinx’s bruises faded. Kamayor raised his hand.
“BRAND.”
Marks of Flow ignited across his allies. Their power surged. “Now,” Kamayor said calmly “Advance.” Xinx lifted his bell. “GROUND!” The bell smashed into the arena floor. A massive shockwave exploded outward. Tropine’s decoys shattered. Bansay stumbled. Akooma crouched low… But Glint was already behind him. “MARROW.” Glint struck the exact joint behind Akooma’s knee.
CRACK.
Akooma dropped. “Prize…” Akooma growled, activating a stolen ability… But suddenly “SWALLOW.” His voice vanished. Glint had taken his Rhyme.
Across the arena…
Gajra roared. “CRASH!” She charged like a tidal wave straight toward Kamayor. Haramu followed behind her. “BLOW.” Each punch shook the ground. Kamayor stood still. “GRAND.” His body expanded into a towering giant. Hundreds of hands erupted from his back. “HAND.” They descended like a storm. Gajra smashed through dozens… But more kept coming. “THRASH!” Her sweeping arms knocked many away… But the hands grabbed her legs. Her arms. Her shoulders.
“COUNT…”
Xinx’s bell rang louder. The sound pressure crushed the battlefield. Haramu stepped through the chaos. “Slow…” His vision sharpened. He dodged every hand. Every strike.
Until…
A single finger pointed at him. Glint. “ARROW.”
The invisible force struck Haramu’s shoulder.
Not enough to stop him… But enough. Tryle appeared beside him. “SPIN.” Her rotating kick slammed into his ribs. “BLEED.” Bansay tried to steal Flow… But Valenti raised his staff. “SWAY.” The hypnotic hum flooded the battlefield. Bansay collapsed to his knees. Gajra struggled against the hands… But Kamayor placed a glowing mark on her forehead.
“BRAND.”
Her strength froze. Her body refused to move. Across the arena, the bell rang louder.
“COUNT… COUNT… COUNT…”
The Asphalt Beasts staggered. Haramu dropped to one knee. He looked up at Kamayor and laughed.
“…heh. You tamed the wild.” Kamayor lowered his massive hand. “No. We guided it to their paradise” The hands slammed down.
The bell rang one final time.
