CHANNEL UPDATE!

Hi Gang!

As you may have noticed, I haven't posted anything in several weeks. I wanted to give you all an update about what is going on.

First, I have been dealing with terminally ill family member which has really taken the toll on me. I haven't felt like doing much of anything since I found out the news several weeks ago. I realized it has fundamentally changed the way I produce the comics, especially the scripting. So, I have taken some time to deal with this family situation.

Second, the online text to speech site I used to do the voices is intensely frustrating. I really want to have a different voice for each one of these comics, which is one of the trademarks of the channel. I just feel it adds a lot of personality. But unfortunately, over the last several months they've chosen to focus more on producing crappy AI music than making sure they're site doesn't garble cloned voices. The whole process of doing this is extremely frustrating and laborious. I know I have complained about that in previous posts.

Anyway, the combination of the both of those issues has kind of put this channel on hold for a little bit. I certainly don't want to have to bail on the channel, so I'm just going to give it a little time to deal with the family situation and hopefully get some types of updates that will make the text to speech aspect of the comics go much more smoothly. With that issue in particular, if that could be sorted out it would make the production of these comics so much faster and better.

I want to thank you all for your subscriptions and support, and for any new subscribers, just hang in there. I'll be back soon. I've still got a Legion of Super-Heroes coming I'm working on that I would like to get posted by week's end.

Lastly, if there's anybody you love out there, anybody you're close to, or anybody you feel that perhaps you should bury the hatchet and extend the olive branch... You should do so. Now. You just never know when those close to you are going to be gone, and once they're gone you'll never get that chance again.
