🚄 NEW VIDEO 🚄
Can Deutsche Bahn still be trusted?
Today we're traveling from Brussels to Zurich aboard two ICE high-speed trains while exploring one of Europe's biggest railway challenges: Germany's growing punctuality crisis.
Along the way we'll:
🇧🇪 Depart Brussels
🇩🇪 Cross Germany on the ICE 3neo and ICE 4
📊 Explain delay propagation and Germany's rail infrastructure problems
🇨🇭 Discover why trains somehow become punctual again after crossing into Switzerland
This ended up becoming my longest and most ambitious video ever at just over 30 minutes long.
I hope you'll join me for this journey!
Cheers,
P.

🚆 NEW VIDEO!
Today we’re heading from Oslo Airport to downtown Oslo aboard Flytoget… Norway’s premium airport express train.
Fast, comfortable and capable of 210 km/h… but is it actually worth paying extra for compared to ordinary regional trains? 👀

🚆 NEW VIDEO!
A few months ago I tried taking FlixTrain… and the experience was such a mess that I eventually gave up and traveled with Deutsche Bahn instead.
So today I gave FlixTrain a second chance.
Was it a mistake? 👀

Hi all,
No video this week,... and not for the usual reasons, i.e., traveling.
I had to deal with an unexpected family matter that needed my full attention, so, unfortunately and much to my regret, this week's video had to wait.
But… the next two weeks are going to make up for it! 👀
Next week: Sweden’s legendary X2000 from Stockholm to Malmö, a train that won’t be around much longer...
And the week after: a night train deep in the Balkans… and let’s just say, that one turned out very interesting.
Trust me! You’ll want to stick around for these.
Cheers,
P.

🚆 NEW VIDEO!
386 km between Oslo and Stockholm… So why does the train take 6 HOURS? 🤔
I took SJ’s Intercity in First Class to find out and the answer isn’t as simple as it seems.
Forests, lakes, a nearly invisible border crossing… and one of the most beautiful approaches to a station in Europe.

Hi all!
Today’s video is a special one, the inaugural European Sleeper from Berlin to Paris 🚆
It was meant to be a straightforward night train experience… but just hours before departure, something changed and I wasn’t even sure what kind of accommodation I would end up with.
In the end, things turned out fine… but the way it all unfolded raises some interesting questions about customer service and how the way company's approach passengers makes a world of difference on how easy or hard it is for them to solve incidents.
Have you ever had a last-minute change like this on a trip? And have you traveled with European Sleeper?
Let me know! And I hope you enjoy the journey!
