Planet Thyferra, famous for its production of the medicinal product "bacta."
I originally made these assets for my "Escape from Fest" video, where I depicted Luke Skywalker shooting down Moff Seerdon's personal starship over the planet's surface (last slide). The structures and landscape are based pretty closely on how the planet appears in the original Rogue Squadron video game.

Between noxious fumes rising upward and toxic sludge draining downward, the prime real estate is located in the middle levels of many Nar Shaddaa districts.
This is my take on an upscale Nar Shaddaa neighborhood. Modeled in 3ds Max, rendered in Keyshot, and edited in Photoshop, I did all the work visible here. Human from beginning to end.
Be sure to check out our new video on the "TIE Courier" — a huge TIE-series transport inspired by Marvel Star Wars issue 65. I estimated this ship to be over twice as big as Captain Needa's TIE Shuttle! https://youtu.be/Esl24Tu45vU
Tune in tomorrow (May 4th) for a new video! I’ll be sharing my TIE Courier — a mammoth TIE vessel inspired by the classic Marvel Star Wars comic (issue 65).

My model of Luke's T-16, in landing configuration. Render by Angelos Karderinis.
Many misconceptions surround the landing configuration of the T-16 Skyhopper. While it might be tempting to give it folding wings like a Lambda shuttle, the actual Skyhopper in "A New Hope" clearly does not have its wings raised in that manner. The book "Inside the Worlds of Star Wars" depicts it landing on mid-wing skids, with folding wingtips. This is really the only logical landing configuration for the ship, as it both makes mechanical sense and fits all the available evidence. Consequently, it is the configuration I chose to include in my re-creation of the T-16.
