Not an update I wish I was giving, but unfortunately I found Viola gone today.
I’ve been taking the chicks to the big chicken run for the days & it has been going great. Today when I went to check on them I found Viola floating in the big water bin :(
This happened purely because of my complacency & honestly just straight up lack of forward thinking. I should have covered the water bin. Now, logically? I know this. I have no idea why I hadn’t considered this a possibility before. I’m so sorry Viola.

Hey guys just wanted to pop in and let you know I am going to be pretty mia for a bit. Unsure how long. I have a video already scheduled to go up Monday, but otherwise I don’t know when I’ll be on my uploading schedule.
Unfortunately my father-in-law passed away following complications after an otherwise successful surgery. I know Ryan & I had posted a video sharing Ryan’s father’s aortic dissection survival story a few years back. This was the next had-to-happen surgery as a result of that initial miracle repair. We are sad and I don’t want to speak for Ryan, but I feel like I’m floating out of body right now and nothing is real if that makes any sense? Idk maybe an overshare. Just want to be honest with where I’m at if any of you care or miss me or worry about my absencein the coming weeks. If you would like something ti watch in the meantime I do have plenty of recent uploads majority of you probably have not seen judging by view counts. It would be really helpful for me if you could give them a watch but don’t feel pressured if the topics don’t interest you. I appreciate your support. ❤️

May was hectic. Lots of things I was looking forward to & working toward & now that these things are over, I feel like I’m in limbo. Like now what? What do I want to do next? Feeling a little lost. A lot is happening behind the scenes right now & it has me humbled. Just truly don’t know how to show up at the moment.. I would really appreciate some insight right now.

Wanted to pop in with an update!
No new video today. I apologize! Video is filmed, but unedited. It’s bake week for my sister’s wedding… so far I’ve baked 5 types of cookies (50-60 each) and 9 layers of wedding cake. Just about to stack and frost it up IM SCARED YALL🥲
Anyway! I will push my upload schedule forward so today’s video will go up Monday (: idk if anyone cares just thought I’d keep ya posted!
& also huge thank you for the love about Johanna🩷 it was hard to care so hard for her & lose her that way. Rough few nights for sure, but ya’ll are lovers & I appreciate your kindness sentiments🩷

I wanted to give you an update on my hen Joanna since I showed her in my latest vlog.

Unfortunately she didn’t make it. I wish this wasn’t the update, but it’s just the way it goes with chicken keeping sometimes. This last week she showed steady signs of improvement and I was feeling really hopeful.
She ended up passing last night. I went to give her medicine & mash & when she showed zero interest, I knew she wasn’t going to make it through the night. I held her on my lap with a heater near by. I wish I could have done more for her. It was honestly a heavy few days caring for her & I wish the outcome was different. I’m really thankful I got to be with her and keep her comfortable at the end.
I just hope she felt safe & calm & loved (in whatever way chickens understand love) through this ordeal.

I am going in order of emails I get there and I will not be gathering messages from other platforms. So sorry if that’s annoying or a pain in the butt, I really appreciate you taking the time to let me see your spaces… I am just horrible at organization as it is & I know I will forget & leave people out if I don’t consolidate everything to one place.
