hi again friends! we know that last month, we apologized for a lack of videos and promised to get back to a consistent schedule… and then we didn’t. we’ve both had so much going on, and it only got worse this month 😭 but things are finally calming down, so we promise to get back to a normal schedule soon (and we swear that we actually mean it this time).

with that being said, if there are any specific videos you’d like to see us make (rankings, recommendation videos, non-kpop, etc.), please let us know! 💗🫶

AN UPDATE ON MADEIN:

With the situation escalating, we wanted to make a post about what is going on with MADEIN to make sure everyone is aware. This post is long, but please read all of it as this is important.

As some of you may know, back in November 2024, Gaeun spoke out about being sexually harassed by the co-CEO of her company, Lee Yonghak. She was removed from the group a week later in an attempt to silence her. A Naver article from January 2025 revealed that despite being removed from the group, Gaeun is still stuck under a ‘strict contract’ with 143 Entertainment.

In April 2025, Gaeun’s mother — along with a former 143 employee and members of the Habit Center — held a press conference to talk about Gaeun’s case and their experiences with Lee Yonghak. Her mother said that the members were under constant surveillance in their dorm, and had all communication with family & friends blocked. She also said that he’d began engaging in “light physical contact” with Gaeun, which became worse after she graduated from high school.

A former 143 Ent. employee - Heo Yujeong - also spoke. She said the CEO would favor trainees and use it to create discord between them, and she would often be the one to mediate arguments between the members. She also said that verbal harassment and physical harassment began when Gaeun was a minor, and escalated after she left high school (just like her mother said). She also stated that this behavior from Lee Yonghak dates back years, and there are multiple victims.

(article about the press conference - 🔗 m.entertain.naver.com/now/article/465/0000010969 )

Lee Yonghak (the co-CEO) released a written apology where he admitted to the crime and agreed to step back from the group. However, he continued to interfere with their activities. And in May 2025, he claimed to have left 143 Entertainment entirely.

On the same day as the press conference, Suhye was missing from the group’s showcase in Japan, and on May 8th, it was announced that she was officially on a hiatus due to health reasons. On May 14th, the company announced that she was on an ‘indefinite hiatus’ for personal reasons (this statement was later deleted with no explanation).

In June, fans brought attention to the fact that Yeseo was being continually sidelined in projects, and being excluded from schedules. Many speculated that she was being punished, as Yeseo had publicly shown support for Gaeun after she was kicked out of the group, and even liked posts on pluschat calling the CEO a ‘dirty pig’. Fans also noticed that Yeseo’s July blog post included a photo that was posted by her over a year ago, and didn’t seem to be written by her at all. There has never been a statement from the company explaining Yeseo’s absence.

On July 31st, it was announced that MADEIN’s first subunit, MADEIN S, would be debuting in August with the 4 Japanese members. Shortly after, MADEIN’s official lightstick was announced — but both Suhye and Yeseo are notably missing from the photocard set, sparking further speculation that they have left the group and the subunit is just a group reorganization.

Around this time, it was discovered that Lee Yonghak was credited on iKON Jay’s new solo album, despite the claim that he had left 143 earlier this year. And on August 4th, he went on a rant on his Instagram stories, claiming he’s a “free man”, made vague references to “karma” and “justice”, and shared private images related to Gaeun. He later deleted these stories.

Lee Yonghak is under an active police investigation for abusing, coercing, and manipulating a minor, yet 143 Entertainment continues to work with him. This company has repeatedly chosen to protect an abuser rather than the victim. It has shown a complete lack of regard for the well-being of both their artists and employees.

We urge you all to continue boycotting ‼️ This means no streaming, no subscriptions, no purchasing albums/merchandise, and no consuming any content. This boycott includes: MADEIN, Limelight, and any releases from iKON from 2023 to now, including solos.

And finally, we leave you with a link to The Seven Pact - a fan organized group working to continue bringing awareness to this issue. It includes a lot of helpful links, and a more detailed explanation as to why this boycott is so important.
