What if the very pieces you're trying to hide are the ones God wants to use the most?
There was a season in my life when I honestly believed my story was over.
When my first marriage ended, I remember feeling completely broken.
The shame was overwhelming.
The disappointment was real.
And I couldn't imagine how God could ever use someone who felt so shattered.
For a while, all I could see were the broken pieces.
Broken dreams.
Broken plans.
A broken heart.
I thought those pieces defined me.
But God saw something entirely different.
Over time, He began picking up each piece I thought was ruined. Not to put my old life back together...
But to create something even more beautiful.
It reminds me of a mosaic.
On their own, broken pieces don't seem valuable.
They're jagged.
Uneven.
Incomplete.
But in the hands of a Master Artist, every single piece has a purpose.
Every crack becomes part of the design.
Every broken edge helps tell a story of redemption.
Looking back now, I can see that God never wasted my brokenness.
He used it to deepen my faith.
He taught me to depend on Him instead of my circumstances.
He healed places in my heart that I didn't even realize needed healing.
And in His perfect timing, He brought Rick into my life, not as someone to rescue me, but as part of the beautiful new chapter He was writing.
Today, I can honestly say that what once brought me shame has become part of my testimony.
Because that's what God does.
He doesn't discard broken people.
He restores them.
He doesn't erase the past.
He redeems it.
And sometimes the very places you've been wounded become the places where God shines His light the brightest.
So if you're walking through a season where life feels shattered, please don't lose hope!
The brokenness is not the end of your story.
It may be the very place where healing begins.
And one day, you'll look back and realize that the pieces you wanted to throw away became the masterpiece only God could create.
Because our God is still in the business of making beauty from brokenness. ✨
Don't be afraid of the broken pieces. Place them in the hands of the Master Artist.. He already sees the masterpiece!💙

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸? 👀
That question has been sitting heavy on my heart.
Yesterday in our Leading Ladies in the Marketplace Bible Study, we talked about something that challenged me all over again.
Most of us have no problem showing up for work.
We set the alarm.
We meet deadlines.
We keep our commitments.
We do what's expected of us.
But when it comes to the assignment God has placed on our lives.
We often wait until we feel like it.
We let fear convince us we're not ready.
We let distractions pull us in a hundred different directions.
We convince ourselves we'll start "when life slows down."
What if we stopped treating our calling like a hobby...
...and started treating it like our highest priority?
Colossians 3:23 reminds us to work with all our heart, as unto the Lord.
That changes everything.
God isn't looking for perfection.
He's looking for consistency.
I think about Olympic athletes. They spend years training for a race that lasts only seconds.
The victory isn't won on race day.
It's won in the discipline no one sees.
The same is true for us.
Every prayer.
Every conversation.
Every act of obedience.
Every time you choose courage over comfort.
Those little moments are shaping the life God is calling you to live.
I've learned that purpose isn't built in the big moments.
It's built in the ordinary days when nobody is watching.
So if you've been waiting for the "perfect time" to step into what God has called you to do...
This is your reminder:
𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆.
Start showing up.
Stay faithful.
Keep taking the next step.
Because God doesn't bless perfection...
He blesses obedience. 💙
