YouTube has reminded me that I’ve been here on YouTube for 6 years now. Wow that’s a long time! I started YouTube for many reasons but largely because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and do the thing that terrified me the most which at that time was being on camera, talking to you guys. Now 6 years later and now it feels like second nature and you guys feel like friends, and in the case of a few of you, like family. I have loved sharing my journey with you and allowing myself to be vulnerable with you and you all have given me such great support through the years. So of course what better chance for me to be even more vulnerable and transparent, than on my Anniversary.
So here’s your chance! Ask me anything you would like to know about me that you’ve been curios about or just realized you wanted to know. I promise I will try to answer every question to the best of my ability in an upcoming Q & A video once I get enough questions. Happy Friday everyone! Today I want to take the time to shout out Sam Wicker and her channel ‪@WriterSamWicker‬ . Sam is a writer of the Fantasy, Romance, and Supernatural genres. Sam creates videos offering tips and helpful resources to help other writers create their best writing practices, schedules and tips while crafting her own journey to publishing her books. Her most recent release, My Husband Wants to Keep Me Pristine, is the first in a series and you can find it and her other books on her website carderwickerwriting.com/. She’s created this fabulous series called Breaking the Block, hosted by herself and other writer friends as a way to bring people who are struggling with their WIPs on any particular aspect, or experiencing some type of blockage creatively and they help you work through it. One of the more phenomenal things that she’s started is the Under 1k Subs Marathon for AuthorTubers and BookTubers who are under 1k subs and struggling to get over that hurdle. It’s something that has brought the community together in so many ways and helps those looking to get a few more eyes on their channel be seen and heard.
