This is a song about raising awareness to speak up if you’re feeling down. In this song, the word sing is sometimes used as a metaphor for talking and speaking out. But at the same time, sometimes singing itself just makes you feel better and lifts your mood. 🙌
We should all talk more and we should all sing more. Whether that be to share your troubles or to just put a smile on your face. Communication is key to everything. ❤️
This track, “How Do You Sleep At Night?” wasn’t going to be a single from my new album but it was important to me to raise awareness and help people in need right now, so we’re releasing it this Friday and I will be donating all of my earnings from the track to the British Red Cross.
This is a song about war, which is wrong in any scenario. It’s a plea to stop the killing and help the people who’ve been forced to flee their war-torn country and granted refuge elsewhere. It’s also a plea to the governments of the countries who encourage these wars to look at their contrary right-wing policies on immigration, when they are, in fact, part of the reason that these people have had to flee in the first place.
It finally calls to the profiteers of warfare who provide arms and other equipment to both sides of the fence with no moral compass whatsoever, as long as they’re surrounded by their walls of money.
Finally, the question to anyone who contributes in any way to the violence of any modern warfare; how do you sleep at night?

I’ll be welcoming you in Sefton Park for what will be our own little festival, with unbelievable artists and bands on throughout the day.
