I used to blame everything on my tinnitus, and since accepting it, my life has changed. Tinnitus isn't the end of a happy life-and l'm here to prove it.
For as long as I can remember, tinnitus has been a companion. I'm now 24 years old, and after many rough years, I have finally begun to live happily. My tinnitus hasn't gone away, but my negative response to it absolutely has.
When I was struggling to cope, the search for reliable information was a struggle itself. I made this channel in hope to reach you at the point in your journey where you need it most.
Our community has grown so quickly!

Something Iāve realised recently⦠The smaller my world became, the bigger tinnitus felt.
When I was really struggling, I honestly didnāt do much. I stayed in A LOT. Overthought everything. Focused on my tinnitus constantly. Life felt very small because, if Iām honest, I was scared.
But over time, Iāve realised something really important:
Healing (for me) wasnāt about waiting for tinnitus to go away before I lived again.
It was about slowly, gently making my world bigger.
Journaling. Drawing. Creating routines. Meeting new people. Starting things that felt scary or out of characterā¦
Even recently joining a run club (which still feels weird to say š¤£). Iāve only gone three times, but Iām already noticing how good it feels to have something for me and itās something that gets me out of my own head.
None of these things āfixedā my tinnitus. I still have tinnitus.
But they helped me feel more like me again.
Tinnitus can feel huge when it becomes the centre of your world. Sometimes, the answer isnāt making tinnitus smaller, itās slowly making your life bigger.
I hope this helps someone who needs it today, sending all my love x

Tinnitus changed my life⦠but in many ways, for the better!
It pushed me in ways I never thought possible and made me so much stronger than I ever imagined I could be. Iāve learnt how to live alongside something that once completely consumed me.
I still have tinnitus. I still hear it. But it no longer rules my life.
Thatās exactly why I created The Tinnitus Journaling Club to help others realise they are not alone, and that there truly is hope, even if it doesnāt feel like it right now.
If youāre struggling, feeling stuck, or simply want to be around people who truly get it, weād love to welcome you into our little tinnitus family š©·
I hope to see you there!

Spent yesterday at the āŖ@RNIDUK⬠āIt Does Matterā campaign event at St Pancras Internationalšš¦»š»
The campaign highlights the invisible communication barriers deaf people and people with hearing loss face every single day, and why better awareness and understanding really does matter.
I took part in some fun interviews, tried the lip reading challenge, learnt some sign language & met some lovely people throughout the day. Such a creative and impactful way to raise awareness during Deaf Awareness Week āØ
More videos from the day coming soon š

Now Iām on the other side, helping others through their own hearing journeys and working towards becoming an audiologist š©·
What started as something personal has become something so deeply meaningful⦠and healing.
Thereās something so special about that moment when someone realises I truly understand, because I know how much I needed that myself.
Very grateful to be part of the Steven Hale Hearing team!

I once thought tinnitus would ruin my life, but in a strange way, tinnitus has made me notice life more.
The warmth of the sun, the sound of the breeze, the feeling of being present in a moment instead of rushing past it.
It doesnāt have to be silent to be peaceful š©·

My mantra is: āI choose stillnessā
Even when my tinnitus feels loud, coming back to the present moment helps me feel grounded again. Sitting with the sound, noticing my thoughts, and letting them pass instead of fighting them has been such an important part of my journey.
Tinnitus can feel overwhelming at times, and having something gentle and steady to return to makes all the difference.
If you donāt have a mantra yet, maybe this is your sign to create one. Think of something that brings you a sense of calm and safety when you need it most š©·

For me, living with tinnitus is all about balance.
There was a time I genuinely believed a āfullā life wouldnāt be possible with tinnitus. I thought that it would hold me back, limit me, or take things away.
But over time, Iāve learned it just becomes something you learn to live alongside.
These photos are a little glimpse into my reality right now. Some days are louder than others, and some moments take more energy. But with the right balance, support, and mindset, life can still feel rich, meaningful, and full of the things that matter most.
If youāre in the middle of figuring it all out, youāre not alone and I hope my story can give you some positivity š©·š·āØ
