Regarding the premiere date of the first episode and the Spanish dub:

Hello! We’ve noticed many comments regarding these topics recently and thought it would be a good idea to make a post to give you a bit more information. We’ll keep it brief.

For now, we want to hold off on announcing a premiere date for the first episode until we can guarantee a timeframe where we feel 100% comfortable and certain we can meet it. This is to avoid a repeat of last December’s situation, where we were overwhelmed by a deadline that became impossible to reach, letting down the expectations of many of you.

However, we are in the advanced stages of development; and as you could see in the intro, the first sneak peek, and the ones to come, we are prioritizing animation quality and detail above all else. And there is still so much you haven't seen yet! We promise you an extremely high-quality result when the time comes.

Regarding the Spanish dub: Yes, we’ll say it again—Yes, we will have a dub!

However, because production of the English episode has slowed down, our priorities have shifted over the last few months. Initially, we planned a non-simultaneous release, with the Spanish episode following a couple of weeks after the English premiere. But lately, we’ve seen so many Spanish speakers in the comments that we are seriously reconsidering this.

During this pre-release period, we will be evaluating how much time the dubbing process will take and if we can manage a simultaneous release. We will keep you updated here.

Sobre la fecha de estreno del primer episodio y el doblaje en español:





¡Hola! Hemos notado muchos comentarios al respecto de estos tópicos recientemente y veíamos como una buena idea hacer un post para darles un poco más de información al respecto. Seremos algo breves.





De momento, queremos reservarnos un anuncio sobre la fecha de estreno del primer episodio hasta tener asegurado un plazo de tiempo donde nos sintamos cómodos y seguros al 100% que podremos cumplirlo; esto para evitar que se repita la situación de diciembre pasado donde nos vimos superados por un deadline que fue imposible de alcanzar y rompimos las expectativas de muchos de ustedes.





Sin embargo, estamos en etapas avanzadas de desarrollo; y como pudieron ver en la intro, el primer sneek peak y los demás que vienen, estamos priorizando la calidad de animación y detalles por sobre todas las cosas. Y eso que aún falta mucho que vean. Les prometemos un resultado de extremadamente alta calidad cuando llegue el momento.





Sobre el doblaje en español. Nuevamente repetimos; ¡Sí tendremos doblaje! 😁





Sin embargo, gracias a lo lenta que se ha vuelto la producción del episodio en inglés, nuestras prioridades han cambiado en estos últimos meses. En un inicio teníamos pensado un estreno no-simultáneo con una diferencia de un par de semanas en cuanto al estreno del episodio en inglés y el episodio en español. Pero últimamente estamos viendo a muchas personas de nuestro idioma en los comentarios y estamos reconsiderándolo ampliamente.





Estaremos evaluando en este período previo al estreno cuánto tiempo consumiría la realización del doblaje y si podemos cumplir con un estreno simultáneo. Estaremos avisándoles por aquí.

Hello everyone,

First of all, we want to say thank you. Thank you for your patience, your support, and the love you’ve shown to Adversity Hotel. Seeing how much people care about this project truly means a lot to us.

We also want to sincerely apologize for the delays and for not being able to meet the release dates that were mentioned before. The truth is that the production of this first episode has been much more complicated than we originally anticipated, and over the past weeks we’ve run into several production-side difficulties that slowed things down significantly.

Without going into unnecessary details, a large part of the workload has fallen on very few people, which has made the process heavier and longer than it should have been. This episode is a big and ambitious project, and we are currently looking for ways to make it more manageable without compromising the story we want to tell.

Right now, the episode is still in production and it is moving forward. A significant portion has already been animated, but there is still a lot of work left to do, especially in areas like the remaining animation, post-production, and sound.

We recommend joining the Patreon chat or our Discord server, where we’ve shared more information about the rewards for those who have donated after the episode’s release.

Because of this, the release date will be changing. And we will not announce a new official release date until the episode is very close to being finished, so we don’t create expectations that we might not be able to meet again.

We also want to let you know that the Patreon has been paused. All the money raised during that time was used to cover production costs, assets, commissions, and necessary work for the project. Even so, the budget has always been very limited, and this project has never had large or stable funding.

Despite everything, we want you to know that this project is still being made with a lot of love and care. Seeing the support from the fans and from everyone involved in the project means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate every message, every comment, and every bit of patience.

In the meantime, we’ll also try to work on and share other kinds of content while the episode continues to be finished, so things don’t go completely quiet during these waiting periods.
