So someone said I ducked WuWa scalers when for one I've only engaged WuWa in writing and gameplay and in which I've made my points about both and I'm willing to discuss them unless they keep repeating the same points I've already rebutted. Sometimes they take days to respond and I have my notifications off so I wouldn't know, but like if you have a vendetta against me, at least make it right because I never engaged WuWa in powerscaling. The only thing I've ever done related to it was saying how people got it to outer because getting a verse alone to outer is damn near impossible for most verses, let alone a character especially in VSBW. Also I do still play the game, especially now since I really want Lucy and if the banner didn't have a separate currency I would've had her already.
My honest thoughts on the cyberpunk collab, it honestly gave me some closure. Firstly, we were given a chance to have fun with Rebecca which even though there was some yap and exhibition I just wanted to enjoy those parts because I already figured she'd disappear later on anyways. I also really like how they included her swearing and censored it, it always makes me laugh. Secondly, I really like how they incorporated the characters into the story and made their respective roles make sense, whether that be for exhibitions like Sigrika or Mornye who played a somewhat major role because she's our assistant, or even Lynae who was kinda just there sometimes (Actually thought she'd be around longer considering she was important in the Voidworm but the Ivory Gatekeeper had more screentime than her). Lastly, it gave me a lot of closure for Lucy's character. I'm a bit sad that she thinks it was all a dream but for the Rover it was a multiverse shenanigans, but also glad that it made her feel better. Of course the scene where she reunites with David, it was a happy moment but of course it was just a dream so it was still heartbreaking but it helped her move. The constant literal symbolism of the NTD being her fear and Adam Smasher being it and then me fighting it at the end was a great moment for me because I felt like me and Lucy had our vengeance lol. Either way it was the best WuWa story, funnily enough it was mainly written by the Cyberpunk writers instead. I mean they should learn from this, some characters lack depth unlike Lucy and also not every character should look in-love with the Rover or have the Rover be important in their lives or story for them to save them from whatever they're in. The best one they have is Carthetiya who still falls under this but at least she has depth and we weren't just dropped in the middle of something without explanation later on.
I'm convinced Lan is a fraud. This mf did more damage than help to the Xianzhou Alliance if you think about it. (Tbf the Xianzhou was stupid to begin with, they wished for immortality and was granted by it)
Low-key every time I see Phainon lose inverse and it's not up against Welt or any of the Lord Ravagers, I already know the take is going to be bad regardless.
Like let's put some respect in his name. He may not be a match for Zephyro, but so is every single non Lord Ravager and non Aeon character that we know. This is also the only person to be able to damage an Aeon even if it's just their avatar, and regardless of that it still scales to his Durability and AP. The fact that Dan Heng also notes how impressive that feat is was already undeniable. We literally know no one in HSR that can win a confrontation against Zephyro or even most Lord Ravagers (Phantylia wasn't even utilizing her full power and Jing Yuan and DHIL still struggled to beat her and she's not even dead). It's impressive Phainon even got through multiple hits before falling.
Mortenax Blade is the most broken unit I've seen in HSR. Honestly surprised he received no nerfs in the beta. It's rare for Hoyoverse to do it to any unit, let alone be it a male unit.
Also I did Anomaly Arbitration when my relics were only half decent so this was a surprise. It made Acheron good again.
