Over the past few months Iβve been working on something.
Instead of building a SaaS from scratch every single time,
I put together a base that already includes:
- auth
- billing
- multi-tenant setup
- project structure
- rules for working with AI
So now I can focus only on the idea itself.
Iβm thinking about making a series of videos
about how to launch SaaS projects faster.
Would that be interesting to you?

Hey everyone π Itβs been a while!
I have one question for you.
Do you use AI to generate code in your projects?
If yes, let me know in the comments which AI tools you use (ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc).
Really curious to read your experience π

What is selector specificity? How is the specificity weight calculated?
CSS specificity determines which styles are applied when multiple rules target the same element. It is calculated based on the type of selectors used in the rule.
π‘ How specificity weight is calculated?
Specificity is represented as four values (a, b, c, d):
a β Inline styles (style="...")
b β ID selectors (#id)
c β Class selectors (.class), attribute selectors ([attr]), and pseudo-classes (:hover)
d β Element selectors (div, h1) and pseudo-elements (::before)
The higher the value, the more priority the rule gets!
πΉ If two selectors have the same specificity, the last one in the CSS file wins.
πΉ !important overrides specificity but should be used sparingly.
