‼️SAD NEWS‼️

I recently lost my grandmother, the woman who raised me in the formative years of my life.

The thing about grief is no one can tell you how to do it… heck, even those who have been through it can’t even begin to articulate just how painful it can get, you just have to go through it yourself to comprehend its depth and width.

All the five stages just seem to morph into the same day while days pass by slowly and quickly all at the same time. The confusion of the emotional gymnastics that one plays regularly and the anger laced with guilt towards people who seemed to move on as soon as dust was put to dust. And knowing that for you, “moving on” isn’t quite an option.

“Nna kea ho yetseleng” she would regularly say. I am going to sleep.
