Writing Lab family… 🥹✨
Do you remember the 30-Day Writing Challenge? January 2 – 31, 2026

The late nights.
The word counts.
The moments you wanted to give up… but didn’t.

We said we would write a book.
And we did.

Today, I’m so excited to tell you something that feels deeply personal and incredibly powerful… I will soon be publishing my book, 35 Years Later. 📚🔥

Yes.

This is the book I wrote right alongside you during the challenge.
Not before you.
Not after you.
With you.

This is what Writing Lab has always been about:

Not just talking about writing…
Not just dreaming about books…
But actually finishing them.
Actually bringing them to life.

Join Writing Lab here: whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb7E2768V0tkW2GQ3d3A

And now, I get to do something even more special… I get to show you what happens after the writing.

The editing.
The refining.
The decision-making.
The courage to say:

✨ “This is ready for the world.”

35 Years Later is more than a book to me.
It is proof.
Proof that:
You can start and finish.
You can stay consistent.
You can bring your story into the world.
And if I did it…
You can too.

So today, I want to ask you something, Writing Lab family:
👉 Did you finish your manuscript during the challenge?
👉 Where are you now in your journey?
👉 What is the title of your book?

Let’s celebrate this moment together.

Because this is just the beginning.
Not just for me…
But for all of us.

🔥 COMMENT BELOW:
“I AM PUBLISHING MY BOOK”
and tell us your title!

🌟 WRITING LAB COMMUNITY!

One of the bravest things a writer can do is this:

Let someone else read their work.
Not after it’s published.
Not after it’s perfect.
But while it’s still becoming.

As we move forward after the 30-Day Writing Challenge, many of you are at the beta reader stage — and this is where real growth happens.

Beta readers are not critics.
They are mirrors.
They show you where your story breathes… and where it struggles.
So today, we’re opening the floor.

If you:
📖 Need beta readers
OR
📝 Want to volunteer as a beta reader
Comment below and connect with each other.
This is what community looks like.

We just finished 20 of 30 days in our writing challenge.

January 15 – January 21, 2026
Theme: Discipline over feelings. Community over isolation.
Reality: Fatigue sets in. Doubt rises. Momentum is tested.
Truth: This is where writers are separated from wishers.

Daily Target:
✔️ 500–1,500 words
✔️ Catch-up allowed (Weeks 1 & 2) without restarting.

By January 21, you should have:

Pushed through fatigue

Written despite doubt

Used community as strength

Maintained discipline without emotion

Recovered lost ground without restarting

This week proves one thing:
You don’t quit when it gets hard — you write.

If you’ve been watching quietly, wondering if it’s too late… this is for you 🤍

Today is Day 10 of the Writing Lab 30-Day Writing Challenge, which means one-third of the journey is already behind us—but hear this clearly: starting is all you need.

You don’t need to catch up perfectly.

You don’t need to know everything.

You don’t need confidence.

You just need to begin.

Writers inside the Lab are writing through doubt, fatigue, and fear—one page at a time. Some started strong. Some restarted. Some are finding their rhythm right now. All of them are learning the same truth: progress loves participation.

If a book has been sitting in your heart…

If you’ve been waiting for the “right time”…

If you’re tired of carrying a story you never start—

You are not late.

You are invited.

Come as you are. Start where you are.

The pages will meet you there.

👉 Join the Writing Lab 30-Day Writing Challenge here:

Let today be the day you stop watching writers—and become one.

Hey everyone!
We're almost there, gearing up for our 30-day Writing Challenge start on January 2, 2026. I've pulled together some ideas for you, in case you want to join but aren't sure what to write.

✍🏽 IF YOU’RE WRITING FICTION
You don’t need a “big idea.” Start with a human moment.
• A character who wants something badly but is afraid to ask
• A secret that changes a family forever
• A journey that begins with a mistake
• A love story that starts too late
• A choice that must be made before sunrise
• A village, city, or world with one dangerous rule
• A character returning to the place they swore never to see again
“Tap 🔥 if one of these feels like your story.”

📘 IF YOU’RE WRITING NONFICTION
You already have material — it’s called your life, work, and experience.
Content ideas:
• Lessons you learned the hard way
• Mistakes you wish you had avoided
• Things no one told you about adulthood, faith, career, marriage, parenting, or grief
• Behind-the-scenes truths of your profession
• A problem you’ve solved repeatedly for others
• Myths people believe in your field
“Tap 💡 if you already know what you’d teach.”

🌱 IF YOU’RE WRITING SELF-HELP
Self-help is simply guidance born from lived experience.
Ideas to share:
• The problem you once had and how you overcame it
• Habits that changed your life
• Mindset shifts that brought peace or clarity
• What to do when motivation disappears
• How to rebuild after failure
• Boundaries you learned to set
• A framework that helped you grow
“Tap ❤️ if your journey could help someone else.”

🖋️ IF YOU’RE WRITING POETRY
Poems don’t need permission. They need honesty.
Poetry starting points:
• Write about a feeling you can’t explain
• Write a poem that begins with “I remember…”
• Write to your younger self
• Write about loss, love, faith, anger, or hope
• Write about silence
• Write about a place that shaped you
“Tap ✍🏽 if poetry is how you breathe.”

📖 IF YOU’RE WRITING MEMOIR
Your story doesn’t need to be dramatic to be meaningful.
Memoir angles:
• One season that changed you
• A relationship that shaped your identity
• A decision you still think about
• A failure that taught you something vital
• A prayer that changed your direction
• The moment you realized you had grown
“Tap 🌿 if your story deserves to be told.”

✨ IF YOU’RE WRITING INSPIRATIONAL
Inspiration is hope put into words.
Ideas:
• Stories of resilience
• Faith-tested moments
• Encouragement for tired souls
• Messages for people who feel unseen
• Reminders that growth takes time
• Stories of small victories
“Tap 🌟 if words can lift someone.”

🔥 IF YOU’RE WRITING MOTIVATIONAL
Motivation is direction, not noise.
Content ideas:
• How to keep going when energy fades
• Discipline over feelings
• Why consistency matters
• What quitting costs
• How to start before you feel ready
• Turning fear into fuel
“Tap 💪 if you’re choosing progress over excuses.”

🛠️ IF YOU’RE WRITING HOW-TO
If you know how to do something, you can write a how-to book.
How-to ideas:
• Step-by-step guides from your skillset
• Beginner mistakes and how to avoid them
• A process you’ve refined over time
• Tools you recommend and why
• A roadmap from confusion to clarity
“Tap 📘 if you could teach this.”

Writing the Book You’ve Been Carrying: Introducing Writing Lab and the 30-Day Writing Challenge

If you’ve ever said, “I want to write a book someday,” this post is for you.

Many people feel called to write—fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, devotionals, or message-driven books—but struggle with where to start, how to stay consistent, or how to finish what they begin. Ideas pile up. Drafts stall. Life gets busy. And the book remains unwritten.

That’s exactly why I created Writing Lab.

What Is Writing Lab?

Writing Lab is a free WhatsApp channel created for writers who want structure, clarity, and encouragement—without the noise or pressure of traditional group chats. It’s a calm, focused creative space where fiction and nonfiction writers receive:

Daily writing prompts

Practical craft and storytelling tips

Vocabulary to strengthen writing voice

World-building and idea development tools

Motivation to keep writing, even on difficult days

Writing Lab is designed for real life. You don’t need hours of free time or perfect conditions—just the willingness to show up consistently.

Introducing the 30-Day Writing Challenge (January 2–31)

To help writers move from intention to action, Writing Lab is hosting a 30-Day Writing Challenge from January 2 to January 31.

This challenge was created for people who are tired of thinking about writing a book and are ready to actually begin.

Over 30 days, participants will be guided step by step:

From clarifying their book idea

To outlining chapters

To writing consistently

To completing a full manuscript or a strong, meaningful draft

The challenge works for:

Fiction writers with stories and worlds waiting to be explored

Nonfiction writers with lessons, experiences, or messages to share

First-time writers and returning writers alike

There is no pressure to be perfect. The goal is progress, clarity, and completion.

Who This Is For

This challenge is for you if:

You’ve been sitting on a book idea for months—or years

You struggle with consistency or motivation

You want guidance without overwhelm

You want to start 2026 with real creative momentum

If writing has been quietly living in your heart, January can be the month you finally give it room to grow.

Join Writing Lab

Writing Lab is free to join, and the 30-Day Writing Challenge will be guided entirely through the channel.

Your book doesn’t need more waiting.
It needs a beginning.
