Ukraine has effectively taken fire control over Russia's main logistical artery to occupied Crimea — the "Novorossiya" highway, which runs through Mariupol and Melitopol. AI-drones Hornet are systematically destroying fuel columns, military trucks, and critical logistics of occupiers, which is why Moscow has already been forced to close the highway for civilian transport. Sybiha on Lavrov’s Remarks to Rubio About Strikes on Kyiv
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has condemned statements allegedly made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding Moscow’s intention to continue strikes on Kyiv, calling them “a spit in the face of diplomacy” and “a brazen provocation.”
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the forum “Ukraine–Africa: Past, Present and Future of Relations,” Sybiha said the remarks once again demonstrated Russia’s unwillingness to pursue peace and its continued commitment to escalation.
“I view this as a brazen provocation. This is yet another public confirmation of Russia’s interest in continuing the war,” Sybiha said. “Lavrov is publicly relaying details of a conversation in which he effectively confirms threats of attacks on Kyiv. It is very difficult for me to comprehend how something like this can even be considered acceptable.”

Ukraine handed fragments of the Russian "Oreshnik" missile to specialists, which the Russian army used to attack Kyiv region on May 24. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the mayor of the French city of Le Havre and leader of the Horizons political party, Édouard Philippe, on the sidelines of the 4th International Summit of Cities and Regions, thanking France for its continued support and expressing hope for rapid progress toward Ukraine’s EU membership.
“I met with the mayor of the French city of Le Havre and leader of the Horizons political party, Édouard Philippe. I am grateful for the support of our people, and this visit is an important sign of solidarity with Ukraine, especially after the recent massive Russian attacks on our country,” Zelenskyy stated.
According to the president, the two sides discussed Ukraine’s path toward membership in the European Union.

⚡️ The European Union will not evacuate its mission from Kyiv because of Russian threats, European Commission spokesperson Anitta Hipper said.
“All commanders, perpetrators, and accomplices of serious violations of international humanitarian law will be held accountable. We have just summoned the Russian chargé d'affaires and conveyed our message that this is completely unacceptable,” Hipper stated.
She added that the European Union will continue supporting Ukraine and will help increase international pressure on Russia.

Katarína Mathernová on Russia’s New Threats of Strikes on Kyiv: This Is a Sign of Desperation
EU Ambassador to Kyiv Katarína Mathernová stated that Western diplomats will not leave Kyiv despite new Russian threats of further strikes on the Ukrainian capital.
The EU ambassador described the statement by the Foreign Ministry of Russia calling on foreign diplomats and citizens to leave Kyiv as “a masterpiece of hypocrisy.”
“The regime that for years has bombed apartment buildings, museums, maternity hospitals, schools, and power plants is now suddenly speaking the language of ‘international humanitarian law’ and the ‘Geneva Conventions.’ The same regime that launches missile and drone strikes on civilians every night is now warning others to stay away,” she noted.
“The EU is not going anywhere. We remain in Kyiv. We remain with Ukraine. Threats against diplomats and international organizations are not a sign of strength. They are a sign of desperation,” she added.

Russia continues its mass terror against Ukrainian cities. The death toll from the strike on Kyiv has risen to three people, with dozens injured. In Kherson region, seven civilians were injured due to Russian shelling, while in Odesa, a strike damaged an important infrastructure object. Despite constant attacks and Kremlin threats, diplomats and foreign citizens do not plan to leave Kyiv, said EU Ambassador Katarina Mathernova. Meanwhile, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul called on NATO countries to provide Ukraine with an additional €90 billion in aid.
