I’m Travis — born and raised in Baton Rouge, where my mother and grandparents taught me how food brings people together. My cooking has Louisiana roots, shaped by travels through Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Mexico, and Jamaica.
I’m a dad in a big blended family of 8, including non‑verbal autistic twins, so everything I cook has to be flexible, honest, and real. That’s what Cooking with Chef Poydras is all about.
