🎉 The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is headed to Vienna and so are many of you. As part of the festivities, we’re pleased to invite you to the Eurofan House, where, for the fourth year running, we’ll be celebrating this year’s song contest stars.

🎵 As in Liverpool, Malmö and Basel, we’ve dreamed up a space where you can get up close and personal with your favourite singers. Interviews, meet-and-greets, live performances, panel discussions - we’ve got you covered during your stay in Vienna.

🤩 The event will unfold inside the gorgeous Wien Museum on Karlsplatz, one of the biggest and most exciting squares in the city.

🎟️ As always there is no admission fee and everyone is welcome. Just bring your questions, your cameras and your biggest smile.

⏰ The event will run daily between May 11 and May 15, from 12:00 to 17:00.

🇳🇱 The Dutch broadcaster says The Netherlands will withdraw if Israel participates in Eurovision 2026.

“AVROTROS can no longer justify Israel's participation in the current situation, given the ongoing and severe human suffering in Gaza. Furthermore, the broadcaster expresses grave concern about the serious violation of press freedom: the deliberate exclusion of independent international reporting and the numerous casualties among journalists. Furthermore, there has been proven interference by the Israeli government during the last edition of the Song Contest, with the event being used as a political instrument. This contradicts the apolitical nature of the Song Contest. These circumstances conflict with the values ​​that AVROTROS represents as a public broadcaster.”

“Therefore, the broadcaster has decided that AVROTROS's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will not be possible as long as Israel remains admitted by the EBU. If the EBU decides not to admit Israel, AVROTROS will be happy to participate next year. Pending that decision, all preparations are continuing as usual.”

🇮🇪 If the European Broadcasting Union allows Israel to participate at Eurovision 2026, then Ireland will withdraw. In a statement, the Irish broadcaster had this to say:

📣 “It is RTÉ’s position that Ireland will not take part in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest if the participation of Israel goes ahead, and the final decision regarding Ireland’s participation will be made once the EBU’s decision is made.”

🎤 “RTÉ feels that Ireland’s participation would be unconscionable given the ongoing and appalling loss of lives in Gaza. RTÉ is also deeply concerned by the targeted killing of journalists in Gaza, and the denial of access to international journalists to the territory, and the plight of the remaining hostages.”

🇧🇪 Speculation is swirling amongst French-language media outlets that Belgian broadcaster RTBF has internally selected the 2014 ‘Voice Belgique’ contestant Nottet to represent the country at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in 2026.

😎 This would result in a return to the stage where he stunned Europe a decade prior with his 2015 entry ‘Rhythm Inside’ which garnered points from 36 countries and earned Belgium a remarkable 4th place, launching Nottet into a Number One spot in the Flanders and Wallonia Ultratop charts alongside broader international recognition.
