Why you should keep your house in old age.

Growing old without your own home is one of the biggest mistakes to avoid. It can make the journey so much more difficult than it really needs to be. Here is why. People or loved ones are going to feel less responsibility towards you mainly because there is nothing to inherit. People may treat you less because there is nowhere for you to go. You become a burden and not a guest.This can shift how you are perceived or treated by family members. At this juncture, you, too, will feel the respect fade.
Owning a home will change the family dynamics for you. The freedom to come and go, maintain your independence, and to obviously give your loved ones the space they need. This will, in turn, help keep relations healthy and respectful. Your home will be your sanctuary, a fall back on, and of course, a symbol of dignity. So, continue to hold on to your own property as you age.Enjoy it, and take pride in it. It can safeguard you from the vulnerabilities imposed by old age. Be wise. Plan carefully. Your independence is important.
