What if watching chess was as exciting as watching football?

That simple question led to the creation of Blunders.

As a chess grandmaster, I've spent years playing, streaming, and watching elite chess events.

And I've always wondered:

Why do millions of people watch football, basketball, and esports for hours...

But even passionate chess fans rarely stay engaged throughout an entire chess game?

The answer is simple.

In football, every attack can become a goal.
In basketball, every possession can become a highlight.

In chess, most spectators are waiting for the key moment.

The tactic.
The blunder.
The final move.

The excitement often comes at the end.

Together with my co-founder and developer, Or Winik, we decided to tackle that problem.

We originally built Blunders as a social platform for chess players.

A place where players could share their games the same way people share photos and videos on social media.

Upload games.
Get likes.
Receive comments.

But while building the product, we realized something bigger.

What if every move could become exciting?

Today, Blunders allows users to watch live games from players like Magnus Carlsen and actively participate in the action.

♟️ What will Magnus play next?
🏆 Who will win the game?
🎯 More prediction challenges are coming soon.

After every move, you're not just watching.

You're analyzing.
Calculating.
Trying to understand the position.
Trying to get inside the mind of the best player in history.

And when your prediction matches Magnus's move...

The feeling is surprisingly similar to watching your team score a goal.

Suddenly, every move matters.

Watching chess becomes an interactive experience instead of a passive one.

What started as an idea between two chess enthusiasts has grown into a platform with nearly 2,000 downloads, achieved with zero marketing spend and purely organic growth.

That tells us something important.

People don't just want to watch chess.
They want to participate in it.

The download links for iPhone and Android are in the first comment.

We'd love to see you on Blunders. ♟️🚀

Let’s be honest: sharing your chess games on regular social media just doesn’t hit the same. You want to show off an insane checkmate, laugh at a crazy blunder, and connect with people who actually understand what a Knight fork is.

That’s exactly why we built Blunders - the ultimate social network made entirely for chess players! ♟️

Think of it like Instagram or X (Twitter), but 100% dedicated to the 64 squares. Here is what is waiting for you:

The Chess Feed: Scroll through matches from players around the world. Drop likes, comment on tactics, share games, and enjoy pure chess content.
Zero-Friction Setup: No tedious sign-ups. Just enter your Chess.com username, and boom - all your stats, ratings, and match history sync automatically.
Your Personal AI Coach: Our built-in AI analyzes your latest games, talks to you about your strategy, and tells you exactly what you did like a Grandmaster... and where you blundered.
Global Community: Connect with other chess addicts, discuss openings, and build your own chess network.

The best part? Blunders is 100% FREE to use. No hidden paywalls, just an awesome community.

Download it now, claim your username, and share your first game:

The European Individual Championship just wrapped up a few days ago — and I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Israeli national team member GM Maxim Rodshtein, who shared 1st–3rd place and qualified for the prestigious World Cup! 💥

I've known Maxim for over 20 years, and what a phenomenal performance this was — 8.5/11, undefeated, and full of beautiful, high-quality chess. Absolutely inspiring.

This year, I had the privilege of joining forces with Maxim on my new club team, Rishon LeZion, and we'll be playing together again in the World Rapid and Blitz Championship in London this June. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of many more collaborations to come. 🙌

Let me tell you a bit about Maxim — he's incredibly humble, a true gentleman, and a person who simply loves chess. Every move, every game — he plays with passion and joy.

Max, my friend — HUGE congratulations! I'm proud of you and always inspired by you. 👑
Much love and respect! ❤️

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since we last met!

I wanted to update you that today marked the end of the 2025 season of the Israeli Premier Chess League.

After my move to the Rishon LeZion club, alongside top players Boris Gelfand, Alexey Sarana, Maxim Rodshtein, Evgeny Zanan, Or Bronstein, Michael Oratovsky, and Nimrod Weinberg, we finished in 2nd place!

1st place went to the Ashdod club, featuring Eljanov, Smirin, Sutovsky, Alexeev, Kogan, Kaspi, Golod, and Globus – congratulations to the winners!

On a personal note, I didn't have my best season, scoring 5.5/10 – one of my weaker performances. But I believe everything happens for a reason, and next year will be better!

I’ve really missed you all, and we’ll be meeting in just 30 minutes for a special live stream! Maybe I’ll play Magnus or Hikaru in Freestyle Chess for Friday night fun?

Come join in! 🚀♟️
