An ominous place in Bucks County, PA, known as the haunted Landis Ridge Tunnel or just the Perkasie tunnel. The place is rumored to be abandoned, although actually it is still in occasional use. This fact doesn’t prevent it from being shrouded in numerous creepy legends and some of them actually took place like a terrible story about headless train driver.

Gate to hell on the site of a former 1926 colliery. I could measure it more than 150 feet, although an old blueprint plan claims this coal elevator reached depth 787 feet. Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.

Abandoned 1920 railroad bridge I found last week. Thanks to the thickets and complicated terrain, the place looks almost invisible on Google Maps. Believe, this protects it from graffiti vandals. From distance the ruins look like scenic medieval bastion. Schuylkill County, PA.
