Here is my single 'future observation' for 2026: The other most dramatic change will be the shift from scientific and technological progress as the key driver of the traditional profit/growth/power-centric economic roadmap. This approach may have worked reasonably well during the industrial and early information economy, but it will deeply fail us in the coming Intelligence Revolution (driven by AI, super-computing and robotics) and the Abundant Energy, Syn-Bio and Material Sciences Revolutions.
