If you're a woman who knows God has called you — but you're still figuring out how to walk it out — you're in the right place.
I'm Tereciah V. Smithen Quintana, founder of LifeSpark Ministries. I know what it feels like to carry a calling and still feel stuck.

So I come alongside women like you with biblical wisdom, practical tools, and honest encouragement to help you rise, build, and move in purpose.

I'm not the expert — I'm a vessel. Someone who listens, learns, and pours out what's been poured into me.
My heart is to help you move — not just emotionally, but spiritually and practically — so you're not just dreaming, you're building.
If you're ready to stop sitting on the vision God gave you, I'm here to walk with you.

Purpose & Calling w/Tereciah V. Smithen-Quintana

Every open door isn't God-sent. Let's talk discernment

Every relationship isn't a divine connection.
Some are distractions disguised as support.
Some are delays cloaked in charm.
And some… are detours sent straight from the pit to knock you off course
.
As a woman of purpose, you must learn to ask the hard question: “Lord, who sent them?”
Discernment is protection. And in this season, you can't afford to link arms with anyone who doesn’t align with where God is taking you. Read the rest of the devotional here: www.tereciahsmithenquintana.com/blog/who-sent-you

Purpose & Calling w/Tereciah V. Smithen-Quintana

No More!

“Change doesn’t begin until you’re tired of where you are.”

That’s what the pastor said on Sunday, and I felt it deep in my spirit. Then he added, “Sometimes we love the things that are trying to destroy us” And whew, that one hit even harder.

He’s right. You won’t change until you’re tired—tired of being stuck, tired of shrinking, tired of running from what God has called you to. You won’t step fully into your purpose until you sit with yourself and God and say, *“No more. I can’t live like this. I won’t live like this."

Sis, I’ve been there. I remember when I had to get real with myself—about my life, my marriage, my attitude, and my walk with Christ. I was exhausted, emotionally drained from holding on to things that were only making me bitter and resentful. But here’s the hard truth: I didn’t want to let them go.

I loved my anger. I loved my resentment. Why? Because that’s where my power lay. The power to shut people out. The power to hold on to my pain. The power to withhold love from those I didn’t think deserved it.

But God.

He wouldn’t let me stay there. He gently but firmly pulled me toward change, toward healing, toward the woman He created me to be. And I want you to know—He can do the same for you, if you let him.

So I have to ask… what are you still holding on to?

Maybe it’s fear of stepping into your calling. Maybe it’s an addiction, a toxic mindset, or a behavior that makes you feel strong but is actually keeping you in bondage. Maybe it’s comparison, jealousy, or insecurity that whispers that you’re not enough.

Whatever it is, it’s time to let it go. It’s time to stand up and declare, “No more. I no longer want this.”

God has something greater for you, but He won’t force you into it. You have to choose it.

Are you ready?

Let’s start:

1. Have a real conversation with yourself and God – Be honest. Ask yourself, What am I holding on to that’s keeping me from God’s best? Then take it to the Lord in prayer.

2. Write down what you need to release – Seeing it on paper makes it real. Make a list of the thoughts, habits, or behaviors that no longer serve the woman God is calling you to be.

3. Take one small step today – Maybe it’s forgiving someone, deleting something toxic from your life, or reaching out for accountability. Whatever it is, move in the direction of your healing and purpose.

Prayer:

Father, I come before You tired of carrying things I was never meant to hold. Help me release what no longer serves me and walk boldly into the purpose You have for me. I don’t want to stay stuck—I want to move forward with You. Give me the strength to say, ‘No more’ and truly mean it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My friend you don’t have to stay where you are. God has more for you. And today? Today is the day you say *yes* to change.

I’m cheering for you! 💛✨. Want more devotionals like this? Visit my site for weekly encouragement: www.tereciahsmithenquintana.com/blog
