Nissan has a new MPV called the Gravite. Well... not new, it's based on the Renault Triber; a car Kartikeya personally enjoys driving and holds in high accord. Adaptations of the same platform between Nissan-Renault partnership has always been done tastefully with each adding their own twist. So, how has Nissan put a spin on Renault's best-seller? And, when will the Triber get a better engine?

KTM has downsized the 398 Adventure X into a 349 Adventure without changing the 390 branding and they both continue to be on sale concurrently (alongside the S and the R too). The only change is to the engine, and the bikes remain almost identical otherwise. The X was always our default pick since launch, and it only became an easier decision with time. Has this downsizing changed that? Who should be considering the 349 Adventure? And maybe more importantly, who shouldn't?

Fuel economy has been a major factor in our decision-making for so long that there are people who now think that the drive for efficiency is making vehicles worse in other ways – such as safety, performance, and so on. But it turns out that fuel efficiency is not just important; it can be fun, and it leads to better vehicles overall, more often than the pursuit of more performance can.

Triumph has downsized their 400cc motorcycles to 350cc while retaining the 400 name on all of them. While this move was largely made to meet the new GST slabs, the reduced stroke length in the engine has made it smoother at the upper end of the performance; something the 400s were notoriously bad at. If you were looking for tourers, the 350s—the only available option now—are undoubtedly more capable than the 400s!

The Mahindra BE 6 was an interesting attempt from the brand because it prioritised performance over everything else. But it did have one issue, the semi-active suspension wasn't in sync with the car's capabilities for the day-to-day driving scenarios. Enter Pack 2, with the normal suspension; it's a better starting point if you're considering the BE 6. Turns out that some times less is more, eh?

KTM has downsized the 398 Duke into a 349 Duke without changing the 390 branding and they both continue to be on sale concurrently. The only change is to the engine and the bikes remain almost identical otherwise. We were hesitant to recommend the 398 Duke because of its frantic nature and sharp and reactive chassis. Has this downsizing made it easier for more kinds of riders? Who should be considering it? And maybe more importantly, who shouldn't?

Royal Enfield has made an electric; under a different brand name called the Flying Flea. For a first attempt, the C6—one of two models—is very impressive in many ways. It's not meant to be a practical purchase for most, but have Royal Enfields ever been? The C6's motor, the battery, and of course the design all make it stand out from the extant EV motorcycles, mostly in a good way. But if this is their very first attempt, the EV future just became a lot more interesting!
