Saint Michael the Archangel was chosen by God to be the defender and protector of God's people. He and his angels form an immense light ready to intercede for us before Almighty God the Father. Therefore, on this day, I implore you, my beloved Saint Michael, that the Lord carries all our prayers to God and that the Lord covers us with His wings, wraps us in His mantle, and places His sword of light upon us, illuminating our path and protecting us from all danger. It is with great faith that I address you with this prayer. Rise up, O God, and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Michael the Archangel, and all the heavenly hosts.
