In Kwara State, Nigeria, a quiet Sunday morning of worship turned into a nightmare. Five of our brothers and sisters are currently being held in the forest, and their captors have just made a demand that is as impossible as it is heartbreaking. They are asking for 1 Billion Naira for their lives. Stay with us as we report the facts and, most importantly, as we pray.
We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities. We refuse to be silent. I want you to join me right now in lifting these five believers up to the Throne of Grace.
1. Pray for Sustenance: Lord, you are the Living Water. We ask that You supernaturally sustain these five believers who are suffering from thirst.

3. Pray for Release: We speak to those chains and those captors. We ask for a divine intervention that leads to a safe release without a single kobo of ransom being paid.
4. Pray for the Persecutors: We pray for the souls of the gunmen. May they see the light of Christ in their captives and be moved to repentance.
