Making 100K in 1 day is a significant achievement for the portfolio. The most important stat- being up 5.5% today which beat the Nasdaq by 1.5%. Yet, on the last down day we had, we only underperformed by .5% (see pics).

Today was a bloodbath in tech and Bitcoin. But we still managed to outperform the Nasdaq, even with over $500,000 of MARGIN LEVERAGE.
The outperformance was due to ULTY, our diversification away from other tech related Yieldmax ETFs, selling put options on Bitcoin, indexed hedges, and other techniques found in my E-Guides.

Thanks to our $1,000,000/YR dividends on margin and today’s gains, we are up 3% in 2026 while the S&P 500 is up about 1%. We finished 2025 up 25% while the SPY notched an 18% gain.
These dividends from Yieldmax, Cornerstone, Roundhill, and other investment funds help pay down my margin while growing my account at the same time, allowing me to outperform the indexes and live retired early.

Living on $1 million per year in dividends while traveling the world with my family. Even with the recent turbulence in the markets since we arrived in Costa Rica, the portfolio continues to outperform.
This outperformance is due largely to my hedges and investment mix with ULTY, Cornerstone, and other Yieldmax ETFs.
Of course, I’m using some modest margin to get this outperformance. Margin has to be used properly.

So thankful for my FIRE community and the gains we have been able to achieve over the past week! We were outperforming all indexes during the downturn, while in MARGIN, and we are still outpacing the markets after the recent rally.
This means we didn’t see any negative decay in our accounts from margin usage. Quite the opposite actually.
The more margin we typically have, the more income we have, which acts as a buffer in a downturn.
Of course, we also de-risked from Bitcoin and high beta tech when the 200 day mavg broke in MSTR, we were hedged, we diversified into other non-tech sectors, and we knew how to de-leverage our margin without cannibalizing the account in down markets.
We did this all while still gaining traction on the upside to beat a market rally. See Volume 7 for how we accomplished this feat. Rinse and repeat this strategy every market correction!
