Hi y’all, been a while since I hit up an update,

The employed life has been….well it’s been definitely a learning experience, we can put that way aha. But yeah, I think for this channel, going forward I’ve decided to slowly reduce the amount I’ve been streaming.

I initially liked the idea that I could stream the games that were a bit harder to create highlight videos from, but that kinda snowballed and I started to do it much more frequently. I realized that could have negative consequences for my PC life, bills, increase channel bloat, lower my sanity, etc. and it’s done with pretty low return, so I think going forward I’m not going to start any new games for streaming. I’ll continue to finish the stream games I’ve already left on queue (RE1, Fatal Frame 2 Remake, and maaybe RE4) but afterward streaming will just be reserved for announcement show watchalongs.

Hey y'all!

For my IRISE content watchers, just giving an update on that Video Essay I've been working on for the past month or so, it'll be done very soon (like 85% done at this point) and most likely released by this Friday morning PST! Thank you for your patience!

For all my other content like shorts and gaming highlights videos, I might be freezing that for a couple days just in case that helps my Video Essay circle through the algorithm a bit more, but I might still do streams and whatnot. Really took a lot of time to put this Video Essay together, so I'm hoping this does decently well at least xD.

Anyways, thanks again for all the support on my channel thus far though, whichever side of the fence you're on for my content. I do a variety of things here, so appreciate that I can build an audience multiple different sides of what I'm passionate about.

I’m still going to work on that Video Essay but now knowing this, it’s going to be mostly in retrospect for the other members😔.

Regardless, I wish them the very best (or even that they reverse the decision), and I’ll continue to support them going forward

Most likely I will try to do a clip compilations for all the other members too, as thanks for the memories and whatnot

Alrighty y'all, hope y'all have had a good New Years!

6 Pages and 4 days of work on and off later, I've finally finished the script for my IRISE Video Essay! I'm really hoping to make this as best as I could, because I know how much IRISE deserves a spotlight and I wanted to do it as much justice as possible. I wanted to get that video out by the end of last year, but I got caught up in a lot of events at the end of the year so I had to put it to the side. Hopefully now I can fully work on it and get it out to you guys soon!

For the 300 Sub Special, I might have to postpone that until after this IRISE Video essay goes out, sorry about that!

Hey y’all, it’s been a minute so just wanted to update everyone about the Channel plans until the end of the year!

IRISE related content:
Really thankful for all the support for the IRISE videos, those took me a good bit to get out so seeing the comments and feedback really made it worth. I’m hoping to release a Video Essay about them and just my first steps into KPOP in general by the end of the year, and so far I’m about half-way done with the script. After that video, I might my a TIZ 8 minute compilation too since that was requested

Shorts, Gaming Highlights, and Streams:
Will continue to have shorts everyday, and highlight videos (normal videos) will be a bit more sparse but might still pop up here and there. You may have also caught me streaming a lot more, so that’ll be something I frequently much more now. Stream games might not be necessarily turned into a highlight video but shorts will be made from them with the OG stream linked

Incoming 300 subscriber special?:
On a bit of a backburner idea, if I hit the 300 milestone I’ll probably get to work on a new subscriber special, primarily formally introducing the friends that’ve popped up in my videos here and there, some retrospectives on how the channel has gone, and maybe some general plans for the future

Hey y'all!

Coming to a bit of a realization for myself and this channel, and that I feel that I might be really stretching myself thin for it when it's a bit unnecessary. I've banked on being a variety content creator and try a lot of different things to upload, but I think it's becoming a bit self-destructive in a way now. Any time I boot up a game, I always make sure to clip footage for the future, whether alone or not. I find myself enjoying games less and less with the looming idea that I would have to take hours and hours to edit and refine it later on, makes shorts of it later on, and whatnot. Not to mention the GBs and GBs of storage space it'd have to take up over time. I've started to not boot up games because of the fear of work, work that admittedly, I am DEFINITELY putting on myself and for no one else's fault.

I realize the bigger appeal of my channel is the fact that I have such amazing friends to share moments with, and of course those kind of content will never go away. But for the more solitary content, or maybe more nicher/quieter games I feel like I shouldn't always be trying to make content over EVERYTHING. So I'm going to try to impose a rule for myself, so it's a bit less self-destructive, and just make content for game series that do well. This means at least like a few 4-5 likes on the games' shorts or main videos before I continue to make more. Or at least a comment that wants me to continue making content for it.

Obviously gaming sessions with friends will usually always be posted regardless because that's also the point of this channel: keeping memories and for posterity's sake. But for other content, I'll try to stick to that rule for myself. Hope y'all understand, all like 4 of you who read this aha

TLDR: NEW RULE, 4 or 5 likes or comment to continue for games that I am not playing with friends and am just trying out.
