Southeast Texas weather is rather tricky. These orchids were outdoors for 2-3 weeks in super-warm ‘spring’ weather. Then, boom 💥, nighttime temps dropped to 36 degrees F 🥶. Yeah, I’ve lived here a long time and knew this could happen… Everybody, back inside for a few days! 🤷♀️

Final stretch to get home! 🏠 The last 2 nights it has been too cold 🥶 to leave the babies 🌺 in the car 🚗. I’ve trolleyed them inside the hotel room. Next morning ☀️, back into the Orchid-mobile!
