my interpretation of the isnt she lovely scene because literally everyone seems to see it differently- the song itself is described by google as a “joyful expression of pure amazement and unconditional love” and it was ACTUALLY dedicated to the singers newborn. so while this could confidently be interpreted as jax being reborn or leaving his final moments with “isnt SHE lovely” I personally see the addition of the song in a different way. you see throughout the show jax was pretty much unbothered by the idea of abstracting, he was even ready to go back to his room in ep 7 and do it again. but when pomni saw all of his dark thoughts and everything hes done she STILL didnt give up on him, im literally not saying this from a shipper perspective this is completely just me analyzing what I saw but I genuinely think jax realized love too late. if not love, then a true connection and somebody he wanted to be with. him saying “I hate you, you know that” while actively hugging this girl 😭, his last words being “I dont wanna go”. his last words were the eye opener for me, like I said, the entire time up until now he was unbothered by abstracting, didnt really value anything or anybody in the circus. but in his final moments he found something worth living for (pomni). he didnt get to say how much she meant to him and he probably wouldve never anyway, but the isnt she lovely montage speaks VOLUMES. literally undeniably MOST of the scenes are with him and pomni, their interaction in episode 4 , them being all close at the bar, them bonding in episode 6, etc. his last moments of being conscious were spent reflecting on their memories while a song saying “isnt she lovely” is playing. so I feel like even though the song itself is different, we can very much interpret the usage of it in the show that way. he hugged someone for the first time in probably YEARS, in the end she was his anchor and motivation for staying, when the song played the way I immediately interrupted it was from jaxs perspective “isnt this girl lovely”. she was the first in a long time to get close with him, she was there for his final moments, she didnt stop trying even knowing how bad he is. he was reflecting and expressing through his mind the amount of love and appreciation he has for her. it felt like the long awaited moment between them to conclude what their relationship really is. even though it all wouldve been better if jax would just express his appreciation for her, thats kind of the beauty of it. as shown in one of his doors he didnt WANT to be saved by anyone, he didnt want to be something to be FIXED. thats why the isnt she lovely scene is so great, he wasnt “fixed” by pomni to open up and say how he feels. he is still the same closed off person as before but this time we get to SEE ourselves how he truly feels. no forcing it out of him. and seeing the truth with our own eyes is what matters. idk, passionately hugging pomni and crying over her shoulder then fading into a love sounding tune showing them being together is pretty straightforward to me, but thats the greatness of the slight vagueness and confusion. it can be interpreted any way you want!

im never gonna stop mourning jax for one he was my favorite character and for two im MAD about how they handled his character
im just kinda disappointed about jaxs character arc because !!!!FOR ME!!! it didnt feel rewarding enoughhh they spent 5 episodes digging into his character and building up to an epic backstory then we DID get it but then they just killed him off 😭😭😭😭 im fully aware that the whole point was you cant save someone who doesnt wanna be saved but still …. i was hoping we would get a resolution between him and ragatha and him and gangle after everything he did but nope he just yelled at them and that was it 🫤 i UNDERSTAND him and pomni are the mcs so theyre gonna have the most screentime and they had the strongest bond so it does make sense for them to have their own conclusion but i still wanted more between the other characters with jaxxxx…. i really do like how his and pomnis arc ended though, he was never going to open up willingly but he found someone who was able to get through to him enough to break down and show his real side. im never recovering from that btw
for an episode basically centered around jax and his mind, i wanted more in the PRESENT time from him rather than heaps of flashbacks and backstory but its fineeee
ALSO BRO they could literally bring him back if hes still alive just as an abstraction BUT THERES NO MORE SHOW im pissed im pissed im pissssseed caine gets to come back but jax doesnt caine was literally DELETED and hes back 😭😭😭😭 youre telling me you ALSO couldnt MAGICALLY bring jax back like you did with caine
