◇ Atleast now, BJP should prove its sanity by
bringing a new bill so that women can get
reservations irrespective of the delimitation issue
BRS Working President KTR has reacted strongly on women's reservation bill being passed in parliament.
Due to the crooked politics done by BJP, the
reservations that were supposed to be available
to the women of the country were not available
immediately.
Even though all the political parties across the
country including BRS have unanimously
supported this bil, it is said that BJP is the one
who has brought problems in the name of
delimitation to fail the bill
They have said that with today's developments it
has been clear that BJP does not have any purity of mind on women empowerment.

The situation was criticized for unnecessarily linking the Women's Reservation Bill with the topic of re-divisions (delimitation) of
constituencies.
"If women's reservations were implemented with the existing 543 Lok Sabha seats, there would not have been any problem. "But BJP alleged that it tried to cut the throats of southern states off the shoulders of women by tying up the issue of women's reservation'.
The southern states' concerns and the
consequences of delimitation, expressed
concern for a historic opportunity slipped away as they stubbornly proceed ahead.
Women are victims of BJP's political selfishness
KTR said that the people of the country have seen the drama played by BJP in the name of women's reservations. BJP warned that it will remain in history as the party that used women
only for election purposes and now backstabbed them.
If BJP wants to prove its sincerity at least now, they have demanded to introduce a new bill for women's reservations only without any
delimitation rule and implement it from the coming elections.Many parties in the country that the issue of delimitation is the most complicated... BJP should recognize that it has clearly stated that South India's representation in Parliament is
dangerous in the current policy.
At least now, extensive discussion and
consultations are to be undertaken on the issue of delimitation, considering the concerns of the southern states.
KTR said that it is not possible to move forward
stubbornly on the issue of delimitation that BJP
should learn a lesson based on the
developments that happened in the Lok Sabha today.
Along with this, KTR reminded that the increase in assembly seats in the state is our right as per the Telangana re-partition act.
The Centre, which has taken up seat increase in
the states of Jammu Kashmir and Assam, irrespective of the nationwide delimitation questioned why it is neglecting Telangana.With the women's bill, irrespective of the delimitation issue across the country, they
strongly demanded that a special bill be brought
in these parliament sessions itself to increase
Telangana Assembly seats by 2028.

Road Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar

A grand road safety awareness programme was held in Adilabad, featuring a massive human chain with students and a bike rally flagged off by the Minister.

Addressing the gathering at Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, the Minister @Ponnam_INC stated that following traffic rules is not just about obeying the law, but a protective shield for our lives. He attended the “Arrive Alive” road safety awareness seminar organized by the Transport Department as part of the Praja Palana – Pragati initiative.

He emphasized that students play a crucial role in spreading awareness on traffic rules. He expressed concern that more lives are being lost due to road accidents than natural causes in the country.

The Minister explained that the government is focusing on four key areas to prevent road accidents:
• Creating public awareness
• Improving road construction and fixing defects
• Strict enforcement of traffic rules
• Ensuring immediate medical assistance after accidents

He warned that people aged between 25 – 40 are most prone to accidents due to overspeeding, drunk driving, and wrong-route travel. Wearing helmets and seat belts can save lives, and strict action will be taken against violators.

Local MLA Payal Shankar urged youth to control speed and stated that drunk driving is equivalent to suicide. He added that change in public behavior is essential for the efforts of police and transport departments to succeed.

Before the event, the Minister participated in a massive human chain formed by school students in the shape of “Helmet – Save Lives,” raising slogans to spread awareness. Learning licenses were distributed to youth, and free spectacles were provided to drivers. The Minister also inaugurated a drinking water facility at the stadium and flagged off a large bike rally from Indira Priyadarshini Stadium to Ambedkar Chowk, even participating in it to encourage the youth.

Later, at Ambedkar Chowk, helmets were distributed to motorists as part of the awareness drive.

The programme was attended by senior officials including Special Chief Secretary (Transport) Vikas Raj, RTC MD Nagireddy, Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju Patel, Municipal Chairperson Bandari Anusha, Library Chairman Mallepula Narsaiah, District In-charge Collector Yuvaraj Marmat, SP Akhil Mahajan, and other officials and public representatives.
