Odyolog Emel Uğur, İstanbul’da işitme, baş dönmesi (vertigo) ve denge bozukluklarının tanı, değerlendirme ve rehabilitasyonunda uzman bir odyologdur. İşitme kaybı, kulak çınlaması (tinnitus), denge bozuklukları ve işitme sorunlarında (pediatrik, erişkin ve geriatrik popülasyon işitme bozuklukları/kayıpları) bilimsel ve bireysel çözümler sunar.

Emel Uğur, odyometrik testler, timpanometri, otoakustik emisyon (OAE) ve beyin sapı odyometrisi (BERA) gibi ileri tanı yöntemleriyle işitme kaybının türünü ve derecesini belirler. Özellikle çocuklarda erken tanı ve uygun cihaz seçimiyle dil gelişimini destekler.

Deneyimli bir odyolog olan Emel Uğur, işitme cihazı ve koklear implant kullanıcılarına cihaz ayarı, rehabilitasyon ve işitsel eğitim desteği sağlar. Ayrıca denge sistemi bozukluklarında vestibüler testler, vestibüler rehabilitasyon ve denge terapileriyle hastaların yaşam kalitesini artırır.
