रानी दुर्गावती बलिदान दिवस
Rani Durgavati भारत की महान वीरांगनाओं में से एक थीं। उनका जन्म 5 अक्टूबर 1524 को चंदेल राजवंश में हुआ था। विवाह के बाद वे गोंडवाना राज्य की रानी बनीं और अपने पति की मृत्यु के बाद राज्य की बागडोर संभाली। उन्होंने न्याय, प्रजा-कल्याण और वीरता से शासन किया।
सन् 1564 में मुगल सम्राट Akbar के सेनापति Asaf Khan ने गोंडवाना पर आक्रमण किया। रानी दुर्गावती ने अपनी सेना के साथ साहसपूर्वक मुकाबला किया। युद्ध में घायल होने के बावजूद उन्होंने आत्मसमर्पण करने के बजाय मातृभूमि की आन-बान और स्वाभिमान की रक्षा के लिए 24 जून 1564 को वीरगति प्राप्त की।
उनका बलिदान भारतीय इतिहास में साहस, स्वाभिमान और देशभक्ति का अमर प्रतीक है। रानी दुर्गावती बलिदान दिवस हमें अन्याय के विरुद्ध संघर्ष करने और अपने कर्तव्य के प्रति समर्पित रहने की प्रेरणा देता है।
