Fellow photographers - what is the best way to clean the lens body? I got something spilled in my bag and got the lens dirty. Easy to clean from smooth parts, but focus ring does not give up. Any advice?

My dear friends, as the year comes to an end, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support.
