Half a decade ago, I began creating video diary entries about my adventures in Serendipity- my whimsical storybook vegetable garden.
Today, I share diary entry memories of my life as Plant Girl for my gremlins to see someday. I’m always amazed at how fast time flies when I enter the garden. I feel like a child again and my imagination runs wild. I hope that by documenting and sharing these memories, it will help others do the same.
I share these memories a bit randomly depending on the mood I’m in. If I remember something that happened in Serendipity- I sit at my computer and rifle through external hard drives, looking for that memory. If I happened to record it, I share it. Other times, I randomly open up a folder and scroll through the memory library until one catches my eye. There is no set timeline and the memories jump back and forth throughout the years.
My posting schedule is as follows:
Long Form Videos: Monday and Fridays @ 12pm

Guys i messed up pretty bad. Before moving, i recorded the empty yard of Serendipity of Eternal Summer St, 1 last time so i could give you a clear view of how big the yard was and one last look at what was being left behind. It was also my goodbye to the space that helped me find a passion. After moving to Honey Oak Cottage, i began documenting EVERYTHING. Changing out hardware, painting the kitchen TWICE- once because there were different shades of white and brown and a second time to add the color i had finally settled on. I digress. The first few months of the move were the most chaotic but also the most productive because i was constantly working on updating the kitchen and documenting every part of it. Hundreds of videos files were stored on my phone. I should've transferred them into my harddrive right away but i was so busy- i kept putting it off. Until the holidays rolled around. Back in November, I began transferring hundreds of video files of those early months in the new property over to a micro sd card, deleting them off my phone, then taking that and moving them into an external hard drive. I took hours to do the first 2 steps but became too busy to finish the 3rd. Last week, i was getting ready to edit the last videos of Serendipity but when i checked my sd cards, i couldn't find the files anywhere. I frantically started looking through every single card i owned, all the folders in my computer & external hard drives. When that produced nothing, i tore my house apart hoping maybe i'd dropped the sd card somewhere. Then i remembered that sometimes in late nov-early dec i needed to film on my gopro because my phone was dying so i ran inside and grabbed an sd card. the gopro said it was full so i formatted it.
Currently, i am trying to scrub through all my sd cards to see if i can salvage any of the footage that hasn't been written over. I have a few pictures my husband took of the house one last time and snippets of family videos here and there but the diaries i had purposely filmed are currently gone. the next few uploads you see from me will take place a few months into Honey Oak Cottage. if i am able to recover the files i'll upload those diaries as i can.

I kinda feel like I jinxed myself 😖 For MONTHS I didn’t specify a posting schedule but I posted on a very strict one quietly. Then as soon as I begin to announce my schedule, I start to fall behind. So I apologize for that 🥺 I’m still sticking to posting Mondays and Fridays but I won’t have a specific time at least for a couple of weeks. The holidays get very busy and I’m also dealing with other family things. These days I feel like I’m running on a half empty tank but I’m still chugging along.
With that said, today’s video will be posted as soon as I finish editing it. I’m almost finished but I have to pause and start on dinner.

I never fully watched Gilmore Girls. I mean, I watched snippets of it but I couldn’t really ever fully take in the show. The reasons for that are far too many to tell you about in writing. My hands will ache and I need to keep up the strength to plant my seed garlic which just came in a few days ago. It has been patiently waiting for me in the fridge but these days have been so busy I’ve yet to plant it. Anywho, I’m finally watching Gilmore Girls and I mean REALLY watching it. The kind of watching where I sit down with a bag of hot honey sunflower seeds, my fluffy blue robe and a sweet drink( blue Gatorade mostly because it’s yummy AND replenishes my electrolytes). I am seeing this show for the very first time and enjoying it far more than a human probably should because it is FALL. I finally get it. Before, I couldn’t really get into it like I wanted to because it’s hard for me to enjoy fall shows when it is 90 degrees outside. Fast forward to now- The other day I was driving down the street and I saw maple trees turning red. If you see something crimson and shiny in the sky tonight, it’s most likely my heart still soaring out there somewhere. While the world outside my window prepares to go dormant, I’m just waking up.
Okay that is all. My heart is just so full, I had to let you know.
P.s. I’m on the episode right after the dance and my jaw was on the floor when Tristan and Dean started yelling at each other.🫢

Thank you to whoever hyped one of my videos last month 😭 My diary just got that update (it helps with discovery for smaller channels) and I just about hopped around like a toddler when I saw the hype 🥹
To my understanding- those who have access to the feature are able to hype 3 videos up per week to get them on a leaderboard. So to whoever used one of theirs on one of my diary entries- thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I need wood chipper recommendations please! I’ve looked on marketplace and the pickings are slim but the weeds are getting out of control 😳
When I lived in the low desert, they never grew this fast or as big. I’m basically out there chopping 6 foot trees while mosquitoes swarm me 🥴
I’ve been looking at the Earthwise GS70015 15-Amp Garden Corded Electric Chipper. If you have a wood chipper you’d recommend please let me know 🙏
