The dynamic attacker has signed a four-year contract with the Toffees until the end of June 2030, having spent the second half of the 2025/26 campaign on loan with the Club.

As reported by the Athletic, the ECHO understands both clubs are now exploring whether an agreement can be reached.

Freiburg will receive a compensation fee of around €25m, including the cost of the loan.
