Eid Mubarak! 🌙
"Eid is a time to reflect on Allah’s blessings, strengthen our bond of brotherhood, and renew our commitment to serve humanity with love and compassion."
Quote by Imam Shah Karim:
“The Holy Qur’an tells us that God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The light of the Divine Spirit is reflected in the human soul. It is our duty to seek that light, to recognize it, and to reflect it in our lives.”
(Maulana Shah Karim Al Hussaini) 💐
It captures the Ismaili emphasis on light, ethics, and service.
May this Eid bring peace, barakat, and joy to you and your family.
Ya Ali Madad 🙏

Mawlana Hazar Imam travelled yesterday to Lower Chitral where he conducted the final didar of his visit to Northern Pakistan.
Hazar Imam was welcomed upon his arrival by Zafaruddin Jafar, President of the Ismaili Council for Lower Chitral.
The location holds religious, cultural, and historical significance. Known for its natural hot springs and breathtaking landscape, Garamchashma is recognised as one of the oldest and most populated centers of the Jamat in the country.
The spread of the Ismaili faith in the region is closely associated with the teachings of Nasir Khusraw, whose spiritual influence is believed to have reached Chitral through Badakhshan and the Wakhan Corridor. His teachings played a vital role in introducing and strengthening Ismaili traditions among the mountain communities. The lasting influence of Persian language, literature, and culture in Garamchashma is often linked to this historic connection.
Later in the day, Hazar Imam met with officials from the provincial Government in Chitral, before returning to Islamabad where he was greeted by a delegation of community leaders.

Yesterday morning, Mawlana Hazar Imam presided over a didar in Taus, a village in the Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Hazar Imam was welcomed upon his arrival by Sartaj Wali, President of the Ismaili Council for Gupis Yasin.
The Ghizer valley lies on the historic route between Gilgit and Chitral via the Shandur Pass, home to awe-inspiring mountain ranges and greenery.
Tens of thousands of Ismailis from the Gupis Yasin region travelled on rough roads for hours, and sometimes days, by foot, bus or car for the very special experience of seeing their Imam-of-the-Time.

Two moments in time… connected forever through faith, love, and Noor.
✨In 1983, Shah Karim al-Hussaini, Aga Khan IV, walked amongst the Jamat during his historic Silver Jubilee visit to Hunza — a moment etched into the hearts of so many generations. Today in 2026, our beloved 50th Hazar Imam Shah Rahim blessed the Jamat once again with a Noorani Deedar. ❤️
From one era to another, the bond between the Imam and the Jamat continues to inspire, unite, and illuminate our lives with hope, guidance, and endless gratitude.
Ya Ali Madad. 🙏

Mawlana Hazar Imam travelled back to Gilgit yesterday evening where he granted didar to the Jamat of the Gilgit regional council.
Many thousands of Jamati members had gathered at the outdoor venue, which volunteers had spent weeks preparing with excitement and anticipation.
The city of Gilgit is one of the major cities in the region, and the main educational and commercial centre for Gilgit-Baltistan. Historically, Gilgit served as a key junction on the Silk Route, connecting South Asia, Central Asia, and China.
AKDN has a strong presence in Gilgit. The Aga Khan Medical Centre provides quality healthcare services, while the Aga Khan University (AKU) Professional Development Centre has played an important role in teacher training and educational development as part of the AKU’s Institute of Education. Similarly, the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School (AKHSS) has contributed significantly to academic excellence and youth development for decades.

Mawlana Hazar Imam presided over the second of two didars yesterday in Gahkuch Bala, situated in Ishkoman-Punial.
At several didar sites this week, local families have been hosting their Ismaili brothers and sisters travelling from across the region.
Many murids have had to travel from distances so far that it took them days to arrive. As they got closer to the site, Jamati members and friends of the community have opened their doors to provide a space for rest and nourishment. One family in Parwak hosted 200 other murids from distant villages in their home so that they could all attend the didar together.

Yesterday, Mawlana Hazar Imam travelled back to Parwak in Upper Chitral, to grant the second of the two didars in the region.
Greeting him was a sign in the mountains made from stones that read “Welcome to our Beloved Hazar Imam”. It took a group of volunteers 25 days to create the sign. Throughout the mountains here in Chitral and in Gilgit-Baltistan, Jamati members created many similar signs to welcome the Imam and express their love and joy on the occasion of his visit.
Hazar Imam later travelled to Gahkuch and Gilgit to meet with the Jamats there.
