Welcome to the Alckemy channel! My name is Ian/Greigh (gray)

This channel is dedicated to those who pursue experimental bass music by any means necessary. It may be neuro basses from hardware, or glitches from phase plant, or maybe videos on how to think about making that Clank work in your track.
Join me on my journey of self improvement and tunes I make along the way.

Chances are by now that I have a video on what you're looking for. Please use the search feature on my channel page to check. If I don't have something you're looking for, send me a message!

about me:

Formerly from Cirque Du Soleil as an acrobat, Former Sifu from Evolution Martial arts under Sifu Joel Ledlow in Duo Ji and Jeet Kune Do. Still currently practicing both as more of an explorer than a teacher.

No stream today, busy doing things outside the house. Take a poll for me though

How have you been enjoying the dnb arc?

Today’s bullshit. I have to deal with this at least once a week and YouTube still has not done anything to make progress on the matter. Thousands of creators keep getting these content claims and literally have no say in whether the “id owners” reject or accept the appeal, which could lead in a channel strike.

Question for you all!

In masterclasses for genres, would you like it better if I did track breakdowns of projects already made and I can explain or do you like when I do everything from an empty project?

On one hand, I think that watching the process unfold is really cool, but on the other I run into roadblocks and hiccups.

You don’t get the dialogue with track breakdowns but the project is more likely to be more inspiring and I can break each sound down. Maybe I can announce what I’ll go through at the beginning so you skim around. Thoughts?

This is strictly for genre based masterclasses like how to make halftime or so. For sound design I’ll still do everything from scratch^^
