Hey hey party people!

I’m taking a sabbatical for the whole of 2026. I have no idea when I’ll be back, or if I’ll ever come back to making content online. I’m going to spend 2026 taking care of my health, both physical and mental.

I’ll also be contemplating what the next phase of my career is going to look like. I may decide I never want to come back to making content. (F the algorithm and F the trolls.) Maybe I’ll go back to teaching at a fashion school. Maybe I’ll start a brand. Maybe I’ll write another book. Maybe I’ll retire early.

I will be on Patreon. I adore my community over there and I hope you will join us! I will continue to host Fashion Movie Club and Fashion Book Club, maybe start a sewing club, do some livestreams. www.patreon.com/c/zoehong I have some free stuff over there too. 

I may occasionally post on socials as a regular person but not for work purposes. I will not be replying to DMs. I have closed my consulting calendar. I will not take video requests, not even for the far future.

My livestreams are a wild ride. The first half is a careful, considered lecture on how design and construction need to come together for engineered prints. The second half is an off-the-cuff rant on the devaluing of labor in pricing and how too many people only consider materials when assessing the cost of a thing.
