The likely to-be Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari's PA Chandranath Rath SHOT DEAD!
Imagine if they could do this to the Personal Assistant of the man who would be the CM in a few days, what all atrocities could they have committed with the common man.
The TMC goons used to literally win elections by intimidating and threatening voters of their lives. Non-TMC supporters used to be dragged down and beaten and workers of other parties would be murdered mercilessly. They had literally beaten a BJP worker's 85-yr old mother to death during the previous elections. Such was the barbarity with which they operated. In fact this practice has been inherited from the communists who ruled previously. One of their MPs Mahua moitra validates the violence saying it's a part of Bengali culture. "Culture"? Seriously?
In no other state of India you see such brutal violence before or after elections. Elections happened in three other big states as well. How peaceful it was. We heard not a single such incident. But look at Bengal, what they've made it into?
Do you now get it how tough it was to defeat them. That is why people are celebrating this defeat of mamta so loudly on the streets hoping bjp cracks down all these anti social elements with iron hands.
From here there's only three ways this goes
1. Law and order improves like how it dramatically improved in UP and move towards development and progress
2. Remains the same as 60-70% of the current bjp cadres were previously a part of TMC cadre
3. Becomes even worse with a hostile tmc and bjp govt being unable to control it and totally turning it as another Manipur
We all wish to see it go the first way! Hope for Bengal's glory to be restored

Vijay's win is an historic earth-shattering win!
I was expecting a DMK win with a lesser margin compared to the last election even though I assumed Vijay to be a disruptor splitting either anti-DMK or anti-ADMK votes.
A lot of us had written off Vijay for various reasons. 2-year old party, contesting for the first time, fans won't turn voters, Karur stampede, weak cadre, no alliance and Vijay himself campaigning very lazily during peak of elections. Not many gave him a chance. People mocked him.
But then you see on May 4th, he shocked the nation. SINGLE LARGEST PARTY! He stunned the two Dravidian giants of TN who seemed undefeatable.
He validated the line "while most thought he'd become a kingmaker, he became a king himself"

Small advice: never try to explore Murshidabad where helpless Hindus were displaced from their homes by islamic mobs and Sandeshkhali where a TMC leader sexually exploited women for months. You will fall out of your masters' payroll 😂
