My latest project is called StarSubculture – an online community platform for creatives to showcase their websites and art!

In this era of the internet, it’s become near-impossible to connect to other creative website owners. At StarSubculture, you’re free to cultivate that community that the internet is so desperately needing.

I started this project because I feel that all artists right now are struggling to come together online – especially the ones who make the plunge away from social media and move to their own websites. It can feel so lonely because the internet just isn’t built around finding other creative websites, due to their often independent nature.

Although my platform still has a long way to go in terms of features and polishing, I have opened it to the public for a test launch! Users can sign up on starsubculture.com/ and submit their website to be featured and post their artworks to share with the community.

My main goals are to continue improving the site. I want to add more social features such as forums, groups, and more. I also plan on giving the platform a bit of a visual makeover to make it more unique!

I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve gotten so far, especially from everyone who submitted their websites and art for this early testing stage. Together we can continue improving StarSubculture and make it into an incredible space for creative website owners.

Hey guys :3 For all the website owners out there: I have this cool idea in mind. Would you be interested in a community-focused online platform dedicated to showcasing and discovering creative, independent websites? I'm thinking of developing something like this and I'd love your thoughts and feedback on the idea, thanks guys :33

More details:
I don't want to ramble on too long about my idea, but the basic premise is a platform where website owners can submit their website to be showcased in the community. It'll be a space for all creatives who own a website to find and interact with other like-minded creatives/website owners. Eventually I want to implement an easy and quick way to subscribe to each website's RSS feed, so you're able to keep up with your favorite websites! (Ideally in more ways than a traditional RSS feed subscription :3)
