I’m a working electrical engineer sharing hot takes on tech, culture, and anime — breaking down fictional abilities through real-world physics and engineering.

This is a variety channel. Expect thoughtful commentary, industry insight, and the occasional maker project when I feel like building something ridiculous.

Would you guys be interested in seeing maker/engineering videos on the channel in the future?

I have a few ideas for anime abilities I think I could actually engineer in real life, and now that the channel is monetized, I’d love to start reinvesting some of that money back into bigger and more ambitious videos.

It’ll probably be a couple months before the first one is ready, but I’m really curious if that’s something you’d want to see.

Also, the video explaining every Domain Expansion is coming very soon!

Edit: Further delay on the video, I have been SICK AS A DOG from this flu going around the last 4 days. Apologies for the unforeseen circumstances.

Small delay on the video this week! I'm honestly swamped with my day job as it's the end of quarter for a big project I'm on, but I HOPE to get the video out sometime before Friday 5/8/26, fingers crossed!

This next video is a continuation on the last and focuses on dissecting domain mechanics! I saw a lot of people curious about simple domain so i tried to dive into those a bit, but I think simple domains and new shadow style could even be their own video all together.

Always understand that when the output is low, it’s because I’m working on a project…

I SHOULD have a new long-form video coming out tomorrow! I’ve been working on this one for the last couple weeks now and really tried to improve with each new video.

I’m finally starting to dive into barriers and domain techniques, BUT the rabbit hole is deep so I’m going to break them up into a few videos and compile them together once the “mini series” is done. Hope y’all enjoy and please continue to ask questions and give suggestions! I might not get to everything, but those are always my favorite videos to make :)

Wow, 4,000 subscribers already, THANK YOU! I wanted to give y'all a heads up that I haven't posted a short in a couple days because I have been working on my first long form anime video in years. It is about Kashimo's MBA form; which I know some of you guys have been asking about.

I have been thinking about how to approach making long form videos all year and I think I have found something that is comfortable for my workflow. I figured this Kashimo video would be a good experiment.

I have also been wanting to make a video about barrier techniques and domain explansions, but that would likely be a much longer video. Let me know what you guys would like to see more of and I will try to work on it!

First of all, thank you all for breaking 2,000 subscribers. The growth has been incredible to see, especially after over 10 years of trying to make videos on this channel.

I also wanted to share a quick update—I’m planning to start working on some long-form videos. They’ll be a bit less structured and analytical than my shorts and more conversational, just talking through ideas and concepts in a more natural way.

One more thing—I’m going to be spending less time in the comment sections for my own mental health. I really appreciate the support and discussions, but constantly reading and moderating negative or rude comments isn’t something I want to keep doing at the same level.

From now on, I’ll be active in comments for about an hour after posting, and then I’ll check back in occasionally later in the day.

I still really enjoy interacting with you all, and I’m hoping community posts like this can be a better place for actual conversations without everything turning into arguments.

Appreciate everyone who’s here to learn and support—it really does mean a lot.
