Welcome! I'm Steve White and this channel documents my real journey from the automotive industry into Information Technology and Cybersecurity.

I currently work in Healthcare IT specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), helping organizations manage cybersecurity risk, security policies, and compliance frameworks that protect critical systems and sensitive data.

Along the way I’ve earned multiple certifications including CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, Project+, Linux+, Cloud+, CySA+, and PenTest+, along with ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), and ITIL 4 Foundations. I’ve also passed the ISACA CISM exam and am completing my Cybersecurity degree from WGU.

On this channel I share my experience breaking into IT, studying for certifications, building a cybersecurity home lab, and working in GRC.
