I created this channel to share my passion for PC gaming and gaming hardware in general. My main focus is benchmarking some of the latest games on my collection of GPU's and CPU's in a way that is easy to understand. I don't know it all but what I know I like to share as others have shared and continue to share with me. PC gaming is a growing market that can be a bit technical and even intimidating for some. I'd like to do what I can to help with understanding it better.

It looks like I've had another 12VHPWR connector melt on me. This time it's my Asrock Taichi RX 9070 XT. Unfortunate because I was in the middle of capturing footage for my next video.
It shouldn't impact the video as it isn't the main focus GPU just something I wanted to add as a perspective to the topic but it is what it is.

Off to trying to reach Asrock for an RMA.

This was one of the biggest differences I noticed when it comes to lower VRAM cards with the RTX 5060 in Monster Hunter Wilds, Title Update 4.
I'm working on a comparison video with multiple GPU/CPU configurations.

The video should be out in a couple of days because of all the footage, editing and work. We'll look at different scenarios in the game and shader comp time as well to see what Capcom have spent their energy on.

When you replay a classic JRPG many years later and now you're getting closer to the age of the father than the protagonists lol.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holiday season (if you celebrate) and thanks for engaging with my content. I'm very grateful.
I'm currently working on a video I've wanted to make for quite a while now looking into the cost to performance when you record gameplay footage while playing using your GPU's feature set.
How AMD does it with Adrenalin Software and Nvidia with the Nvidia App.

We'll look at a number of games, engines and scenarios to see which team does it better, AMD or Nvidia.

The results may surprise but at the very least confirms my suspicion.

Not sure if I'll make a video on this but I did a quick test with my $60 Ryzen 5500 in Borderlands 4 and it did surprisingly well all things considered. 60 to 70 FPS in most cases with drops to the 50's during bigger encounters and mount traversal.
1% lows were surprisingly good too.

I'm working on a video looking at Cronos The New Dawn on RX 9070 XT and 7900XTX. Should be up within a day or two its about 80% done. Really interesting results, 9070XT does great with Hardware Lumen even almost matching my RTX 4090. Crazy.
Unfortunately all my footage was captured before the brand new Radeon Driver which saw the 9070XT have crashing issues with Hardware Lumen but I will try to add a chapter in the video briefly comparing 25.8.1 with 25.9.1 It'll just end up delaying the video as I have to do this after work.

I dont like to rush out videos without it resembling what I've envisioned in my head even if it ends up delaying the publish. Whatever. Editing is 80% finished.
The target is 4K though as all these cards can offer a 4K 60+ experience with optimized settings no problem.

QUICK UPDATE. The next video on the channel, which should be up within a day or so, we'll be taking a look at the Battlefield 6 beta on the lowest Recommended System Requirements (not minimum) at 1080P, 1440P and 4K.

We'll use my Ryzen 7, 3700X for a CPU and unfortunately I don't have a 3060Ti. The closest GPU I have is an RTX 5060 which is only around 10% faster according to Techpowerup. There's some interesting data to see. I've already captured the footage. I just gotta edit and upload it when I get home from work.

The video after that we'll take a look at Mafia: The Old Country on the RX 9070 XT at 1440P and 4K, which I've also already captured the footage of and the video after that we'll probably do the PS5 Pro equivalent PC build video around my newly purchased Ryzen 5500 I got the other day. That will take a little while to put together.

Thanks and cheers.

I picked up this 6 core AMD Ryzen 5500 for $60 and it comes with a cooler too. I wanted to make video where we try to put together a PlayStation 5 Pro equivalent PC in price, or as close as we can with this CPU and my RX 9060 XT 16GB and see what it can do.
I think that would be interesting and it doesn't hurt to have a spare AM4 CPU kicking around.

I've been working on a video taking a look at gaming performance on Ryzen 5000 CPU's in 2025 using my 5900X. Be it the 5600X, 5800X or 5950X, when it comes to gaming they petform relatively similarly.
I wanted this video to be a bit different than my usual CPU benchmark videos. Some of you have requested using a more realistic type of hardware combination and settings so instead of using my RTX 4090 at 1080P I went with my RX 9070 XT at 1440P, using it as I would to game for my own pleasure.

Now I realize no matter the approach, when benchmarking CPU's, it's impossible to please everyone, and that's OK. Enthusiasts are opinionated and I get it.

Regardless, there will be some interesting results and conclusions to come to as we see how the Ryzen 5900X holds up against the current gaming champ, the 9800X 3D in some of the latest CPU heavy games.

Hey guys. I've been working on an RX 6800 XT vs RX 9060 XT video that should be up soon looking at different games, engines, rasterization, ray tracing etc. It's the most interesting comparison I've made because of how wild the differences can be but also interesting to see how far AMD's come from RDNA 2 to RDNA 4.
