For decades, Scouts have supported the Hajj pilgrims, contributing to an effort that brings together government authorities, volunteers, and communities in the service of millions of pilgrims. For the Scouts themselves, it is an opportunity to put the values of Scouting into practice through meaningful community service on a truly remarkable scale.

A crew of Finnish Sea Scouts and sailors are preparing to take on one of the world’s most demanding sailing challenges: the Ocean Globe Race 2027–2028.

Meet Sail For Good. Following qualification, they will sail around the world using traditional navigation methods inspired by the golden age of offshore racing.
Their route will include stopovers in South Africa, New Zealand, and Uruguay. But beyond the race itself, their mission carries a strong social purpose.
During each stopover, the crew hopes to provide free sailing experiences for underprivileged and at-risk young people, using time on the water to build confidence and a sense of opportunity.

A strong step forward for Scouting in Nigeria! 🇳🇬. From 21 to 24 May, the Scout Association of Nigeria brought together over 30 national leaders in Abuja for a GSAT assessment and strategic planning workshop facilitated by World Scouting.

The sessions supported TSAN in reflecting on key areas, including governance, strategy, the Youth Programme, Adults in Scouting, financial management, and communications, while shaping clear priorities for the next nine years.

By aligning its strategic plan with the Strategy for Scouting, Nigeria is strengthening its long-term growth journey through clear priorities, strong governance, and a shared vision for growth.

Big news for young people around the world! 🌍 ‪@WorldScouting‬ and ‪@Accenture‬ are announcing a new three-year partnership to help millions of young people build skills and take action for a more sustainable future.

With USD 3 million in support, this partnership will expand programmes like EarthTribe, LifeLeaders, and JOTA-JOTI, while introducing new digital tools and learning experiences powered by the latest technology.

Across the world, Scouts are already making a difference:
⚜️ In the UAE, creating systems to save water and protect the environment
⚜️ In Indonesia, leading efforts to reduce pollution at local beaches
⚜️ In Brazil, helping communities stay safe from online scams
⚜️ In Sweden, bringing young people together to tackle loneliness
And this is just the beginning.

New micro-grants will support even more youth-led projects, giving young people the chance to turn their ideas into real impact in their communities. Together with Accenture, we are empowering the next generation to lead change and build a better world.
