Wavey and I are about to exit the Chesapeake, via the C&D canal. We're anchored out in the Bohemian River tonight...
We're going to stop in Chesapeake City for a couple days (free docks) and work on the next episode...

I'm putting the finishing touches on this week's episode of "The Great Loop on a Shanty Boat" I'm going to try to have it published by around 5pm tomorrow...

Howdy! Fellow adventurers. Wavey and I will be back in the water today. I did a little late night maintenance while on the trailer (lower case oil and prop.) This is the exact spot we paused on the Great Loop a year and a half ago. The weather is slowly warming up, we have all the time in the world to deep dive into the East Coast. Howdy! Fellow adventurers...checking in. Wavey and I (and Chad on the Outlaw Shanty) are in Grand Rivers for a couple of days. We had to break some more ice to reach the dock...the beagle had to pee :)
We'll be moving back over to Oriental, NC this weekend, to start staging for the East Coast ICW and to finish the Great Loop proper...
I hope y'all enjoyed these Great Rivers side quests...I might have one more Cumberland episode for you...

Howdy! Fellow adventurers. We're riding the storm out, as the song says. We anchored out in Clarksville, TN away from anything that might fall or collapse...
We woke up to some terrible news, some of the docks at Birdsong collapsed under the weight (yes, the same ones we and Chad and many others were/are parked) it sounds like Chillaxn's shanty was crushed :( ...
The best place to find out more about that is on the Waterbug channel...
I'm working on a video now, all is well here Thank God, and the little wood stove is keeping us warm...

Wavey and I found a nice little cove off the Tennessee yesterday. No dock, just a primitive camping area. We pulled the Beagle Barge along the bank and launched the scooter...

Howdy! Fellow adventurers. Checking in...
Wavey and I (with the help of our fellow shanty captain Chris on The Shallow-Lady) are officially in Tennessee. The damaged gutter from the Great Loop finally gave up the ghost out on the freeways, (see pictures)...
We're camped out in a Lowes parking lot, fixing it in the morning...
People are so friendly in Tennessee! I'm moving here...;)
We should be launched tomorrow and starting "The Tennessee River Side Quest" of "The Great Loop on a Shanty Boat" series. I hope y'all keep showing up...its gonna be fun ;)
