Hi, I’m Summer, but you can call me Sasa 🤍
I’m 30 years old, born and living in Shenzhen, China 🇨🇳.
My parents moved here from a small village years ago, and through their hard work, this city became home for our family.
I share what my days actually look like — daily routines, local food, and a different side of life in China and wherever I go around the world🌍
Your support means so much and allows me to keep creating more.
Thank you for being here 🫶

Hey guys! It’s official — I’ve opened a Patreon page! 🥳✨
Sharing my daily life, cooking, and random snippets on YouTube has been such a beautiful journey, and I’m so incredibly grateful for all your love and sweet comments here.
I wanted to create a little "secret corner" where I can share some moments that don’t always make it into the final YouTube videos.
If you’re interested, here is what’s inside:
🎬 Early Access: Watch new vlogs 24-48 hours early.
📸 Life Snippets: Casual daily photos, unedited clips, and B-rolls.
💬 Private Chat: A cozy chatroom to hang out and connect closer.
Please don’t feel any pressure at all! This is just an extra option if you’d like to see a bit more of my daily routine or support my creative freedom. I am already so happy just having you here watching my vlogs. 🤍

Happy 520 from China 🤍
Today is May 20th, and in China, “520” sounds like “I love you” in Chinese — wǒ ài nǐ.
So over time, May 20th became a kind of modern Valentine’s Day here. People send flowers, gifts, messages, or just use it as a cute excuse to say “I love you.” ☺️
I always find it interesting how numbers, sounds, and culture can create these little special days.
Do you have anything similar in your country?
Like a date, number, or wordplay that has a special meaning?
Happy 520 / Happy Chinese Valentine’s Day from me to you ALL🫧🥰

First time trying F45 today. Brutal, exhausting, but SO incredibly good. 😮💨💪
Ever since hitting 30, my perspective on health and wellness has completely shifted. It’s no longer about just "working out," it's about investing in my future self.
I’m curious—what’s one thing that suddenly started mattered to you way more once you hit 30? Drop your thoughts below!

I’m feeling happy rn. I’ve been playing ABBA’s "Dancing Queen" on repeat, and it hits differently when you actually feel happy 😊
Just like the lyrics:
"You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life." 💃✨
I'm really feeling it! I've realized I’m such a nostalgic person. When I'm in a good mood, I just want to hear Funky beats and 80s Disco.🪩 and it’s exactly the kind of vibe that makes me want to dance.
What’s your go-to "happy" music? What do you blast when life feels good? Would like to know you guys fav music🥰

Regarding the debate on my "Low-Income Life in China" video... 🏮
https://youtu.be/4Ra39BMkEmg
I’ve been reading through all your comments over the last few days—the support, the questions, and even the skepticism. I wanted to sit down and have a real conversation with you all.
First, let’s be totally honest: I’ve never tried to use "low income" as a gimmick, and I’ve never claimed to be part of that group myself. I think as viewers, you have great intuition. You can tell just by looking at someone—their energy, their perspective, even the way they speak—what their background is. In reality, someone in China truly struggling at that income level wouldn't have the time, the tools, or the headspace to craft a video like this.
I made this video because I live in Shenzhen—one of the fastest, most modern cities in the world. Here, a salary of $600-$700 (about 5,000 RMB) is a very real reality for millions of people who keep this city running, yet it’s often hidden behind the glitzy skyscrapers. I didn't want to show you "extreme poverty" or a "propaganda" version of China. I wanted to show you the authentic urban struggle—the life of people working hard just to get by in a city that is becoming increasingly expensive.
My goal is always to be an honest observer. I use my camera to show you the parts of China that don't make it into the travel brochures, even if those parts are complicated or spark a debate.
Lastly, I just want to say a huge thank you. Without your curiosity and your constant support, I probably wouldn’t have the courage to keep diving into these complex topics or spend the energy making videos that go beyond the surface.
I’m going to keep sharing the China I see—the real, the messy, and the human side of it. See you in the next video! 🙏✨

Working on my next video and honestly, it’s making me a bit emotional.
I’ve seen so many of you asking what I actually do for a living and how I have so much freedom. So in this video, I’m finally going to talk about it! I’ll be sharing how I got out of the 60/hrs week life in Shenzhen—the part where I was just exhausted and thinking "burnout" was normal.
I’m diving into why I finally just quit (even without a backup plan) and how I found a way to work that actually lets me have a life. No more "acting busy" until midnight.
Are you guys curious about the transition or more about the work itself? Let me know in the comments—I want to make sure I cover what you want to hear! 👇✨
