Last night we said goodbye to our beloved Wheezy cat and our house feels so empty without him. 😢 We had 19 glorious years with him which we are so blessed to have had. 🙏🏾And he passed peacefully at home laying in his bed with us right by his side. 🕯🌹

We will always miss his sweet gentle soul, his determination, and his greediness. 🖤
Who will be my alarm clock now? 😢

There truly will never be another Wheezy. 💔

So of course I will be continuing my break and taking time to grieve and heal. But I will be back.
In the meantime thank you all for all of your support during this time. I truly appreciate each and every one of you. 🙏🏾

And to my Wheezy, you will always be my baby and we'll always love you & miss you.

Halloween Costume 2024! 🎃
Hope you all had a great Halloween.

It was a rough week for us and we didn't think we were even going to dress up this year. But luckily we decided to enjoy our night and do the makeup looks that we had already practiced and I'm so glad we did.

This is one of my favorite looks that I've ever done and I always enjoy getting into character. 👻

Hello, my beautiful people! I have missed you and I'm sorry I've been away for so long. 🖤

I've been dealing with a lot lately with taking care of my 19 year old cat.

Anyone who is a caretaker knows, it's been rough with good days and bad days but the bad days just take a lot out of me. So of course I haven't been reading as much as I normally do BUT I AM STILL READING.

I definitely plan to return to YouTube soon. In fact I'm currently editing a video that should be out in the next few days. 🙏🏾

In the meantime I'm trying to be gentle with myself and do what I need to do for myself and my family. 🖤

So, hopefully you can understand and I thank you so much for your patience during this time.

Please send positive thoughts and love to my precious boy. He's a trooper! 🐈‍⬛️😻

Hello, my booktube family! I'm currently in the process of editing my next RECENT READS WRAP UP video and hope to have it out soon. 🤞🏾

Please bear with me. I work a 40 hour week and also need to squeeze in time for reading, taking care of my home, my daughter, and my cats. Oh yeah and myself too! 😜

Check out this great video by ‪@libraryofaviking‬​​ where he talks about the topic of booktubers quitting YouTube. 🤔

And I can relate to a lot of the things that were talked about in this video. Though I have no intentions of going anywhere I definitely understand the pressure it can put on a content creator.
